Visited this place with my boyfriend. Was hard to find at first because the narrow streets leading up in the mountains, but the hosts were willing to come and guide us there. The views from the room were great, haven't seen bathroom so large for a long time. We were never interrupted or bothered by neighbours. And it has a natural ocean pool 10 min driving from there.

Such peaceful place

The cottages are set on the quiet slopes of San Pedro, a hillside neighborhood out of Hermigua. They are extremely rustic and simple dwellings, for nature lovers. The garden enjoys a fantastic view on the quiet valley below. A great care is taken on decoration details, which are very pleasant and appealing. Our apartment had bedroom and bathroom carved out from the original wine cellar and canteen, which made them look different and very romantic. At the same time though they resulted in being a bit humid and smelly, due to their original intended use (i.e. canteen), which to me was an issue. Moreover, provided rates applied per night, kitchen cabinette and fittings definitively need to be renovated, since a very strong smell of damp affects kitchenwares. Please note that annoyance depends on your own tolerance level. The overall atmosphere is extremely nice and enjoyable. A footpath behind the house will take you to the beautiful Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Lourdes (El Cedro), in the heart of the the Laurisilva ancestral forest, a recommended hike. The owners also run an Aloe Vera plantation business in Hermigua, where you will find high-quality Aloe products.

Enjoyed every moment, not for everyone as it is different and you need to be basically fit.
The views are amazing. The restaurant five minutes walk downhill was excellent and very busy with attentive staff.

Impolite and stubburn staff - young lady Maria (main owner), not the older one who was nice. Maria didn't speak almost any english and she didn't want to solve any problems, which we had. She was calling booking.com and booking.com was saying ok so we will cancel your reservation for no cost, but Maria was saying: "no, it's not possible you will have to pay half price - 72 euro". So we couldn't cancel. And she didn't care if we will be happy or not. 

Our house didn't look the cleanest and just a little bit stinked. Also we had to walk outside to reach kitchen and bathroom from our bedroom. Not nice feeling especially because it was very cold and windy in Hermingua during our stay. Especially on a hill where our house was.

Location is on one side with a nice view on other is on a hill, so if you don't have car it's 15 minutes climbing. Also because of location house has really strong winds and it can be cold.

Alltogether we don't recomend you to stay here for any price. There are much better and cheaper places on La Gomera.
