Lazy Bird Guest House

Loved the Guest House. Travelled with my Singer group of friends and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue is that it takes more time to travel to other destinations. I would prefer this place if you're looking to rent a place with big groups, but if you're looking to travel into the city, this is not the recommended placed to be.

I had to battle through the most insane rush hour in Seoul to get to Incheon, and had to meet some people before getting my way to Lazy Bird. So I was running pretty late for check in. But I called them up and spoke to Leo, the nicest guy and he said it’d be ok to come late.

I didn’t realize this meant he’d actually stay awake so when I got in he could show me around all the facilities. My friend decided he wanted to stay at the hostel too and he was checked in no problems. He was in the men’s dorm and I was in this big private room which was soooooo nice to crash in.

I love all the wall decals and design of the place. I’m going to model my future kitchen and house on Lazy Bird’s design haha I’m serious. Cute pictures and sayings all around the walls. And the kitchen was so easy to use. As with other Korean hostels, they provide some breakfast for you.

This is the nicest place to stay very very homey. And close to the airport. There’s an option to get picked up or dropped off to the airport by the hostel staff if you arrange it with them. 

Without question 5/5 This is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay whether entering or leaving Korea. Highly recommended.

Clean and nice, feels like back home. Bed is so comfy in the Single Bed Suite.
Everything just makes you feel comfy.

Definitely want to stay again.

Relaxing and Homey

Nice

We booked this place because we arrived at Incheon Airport late at night and we did not want to travel all the way to downtown Seoul in the middle of the night. LBG is a 10-min drive away from the airport and the owner was very prompt in picking us up upon receiving our call. He was also very friendly, making us feel at ease.

The place was very clean and had a homely feel to it. It even has cup noodles and snacks for sale if you want a late night snack. Breakfast was also provided but all it included was bread and juice. If you want to make toast, there is a toaster available for use.

Overall we are satisfied with LBG because it provided us with exactly what we needed - a clean and affordable place near Incheon Airport to recharge for the night before we make our way to downtown Seoul the next morning.

Clean guesthouse near Incheon Airport

Nothing fancy here. Reasonably priced, 10 mins drive from Incheon airport. Owner will pick you up and drop you off for 5000 won each way, as long as you arrive/depart during reasonable hours. We arrived at 11pm and he picked us up with no hassle. Call his mobile and he'll show up at a pre-arranged spot in 10 mins as promised. 

Room is tiny, just a bed and really nothing else. Though bed was comfortable (those of you who hate hard mattresses beware, it is standard in korea). Floor heating is sufficient though we were here in spring so couldn't test its strength. Shower and toilet combined is shared on the ground floor. Towels provided, as are free-to-use shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste in the shower room. Bring your own toothbrushes. 

Kitchen is cosy and can sit 4. Breakfast (included) comprise of toast and juice. And rotten strawberries... Feel free to grab hot and cold water from the flask. For a one night stopover, it is very decent. We left by 8 in the morning so we really didn't explore the neighbourhood at all, but from what we can see, there is nothing but a quiet neighbourhood. I doubt you would want to stay here and take the metro to seoul everyday just to save a few bucks for accomm. That would be tiring. 

Defintely a top choice for a stopover. Owner is nice.
