I had a blast staying at this hostel, I only stayed for a night but could've been here for weeks! The owners and all the helpers were so warm and helpful, truly genuine lovely people!! This does not feel like a business whatsoever but simply, their home.. Everyone has a really good vibe, this is a hostel where you make life long friends.. definitely not one where people are anti social and on their phones the whole time. As mentioned, the hostel has a rustic feel yet modern. Amenities wise, there is a small locker to fit passports etc (bring a lock), all free to use (bikes, skateboards, yoga mats), towel provided. Location wise- it is a less than 15 min walk from the main bus stop, in the old town where there are heaps of food outlets (seafood restaurants close by), markets and just general stores Surfing wise- I did a board hire which includes a wetsuit and van transfer (Im pretty sure theres no where that you can simply walk to a surf beach) I miss this place already and can't wait to one day come back!
