Nothing but to enter and realize that you've made a mistake.Little kindness, give the money and the room tell you that from the valley you'll see the sea, you'll have a parking lot and a lot of imagination at the bottom..a lo lojos may be the sea.The TV looks bad, the saunas are wrinkled and the chair with a horrible patch.A bad hotel and needs cleaning.Less bad that it was just one night.

A balcony that doesn't see the sea.

The worst experience of my entire life. Old building, disgusting smell and poor hygiene. The rooms were old, neglected. There were bugs in the shower in the bed and spiders hanging from the ceiling. The sheets smelled fatal and didn't clean the room from day to day. The terrace was made of shit. The chairs were half-rotten and there were leftovers of food and other guests' snacks. The hotel offered breakfast included in our meal plan, if that's what you can get for breakfast... Cuatro hard balls from past days and an imbebible cafe. I found a day with a diary during which I'd like to treat my vacation!

The worst experience of my whole life!!!!!

I was walking the Camino with my husband and friend. We were pre booked at this hotel. It had rained all day and it was very cold. The owner refused to turn on the heat stating it cost too much money. All of our clothes were wet and we just wanted to dry off. We were offered heaters, but it blew a fuse. The paint was peeling and in one room the sliding door would not close. The servers indicated as people from the US we expected too much. 

Worst experience I have ever had a hotel

We were cold all day, the last day they found us a stove in the room but practically useless. Fatigued hotel, to be renovated in several parts, in the bathroom there are separate taps of hot and cold water, the lights don't work well and the electrical outlets are unusable. Good and sufficient breakfast. The low price doesn't pay off the decency of a comfortable stay. Not recommended.

To be Avoided

I get a good rating because the price is very good, but since we have a room for one day on January 1 and a double room for 35 euros, it's all very improving. As the facilities are large but very archaic, the simple fact of changing the TVs in our rooms if you win a little. The breakfast buffet is very scarce. Notase leaveadez is a comfortable accommodation in the past in this hotel. The situation is the same though not bad, if you take the car from the center of the villa Esposende and still do Castro Sao Lourenço.

Comodo

It was the only free alternative in Esposende. I heard about it right away. I was even surprised that I was charged first. 55 euros no more or less for a small room, anchored in time. No air conditioning works, no WiFi, no radio built into the woodhead! A vintage mini-TV that looks bad. Only a plug and right at the entrance, that is, away from the bed. Worn towels on the top. The door runs to a dirty balcony, almost impossible to open if you are not a musculist. The bathroom extractor, which never spoke of working, is in a deplorable state. In a great disappointment. And the descent in the line. Zero-quality naranja, quantan quanta croissettes, which are cheaply made from linen, bullets, but what good looks to eat, but not in a very good condition.

It's obsolete.

This hotel is frankly average... It's not a 3-star comfort at all, don't count on it. 65€ the couple room... frankly in 1 week it's the most expensive we've ever made and it's the least good memory. And then the view of the parking lot is finished (I don't have any particular taste in luxury but the hotel is just very expensive for what it is.)

Three weird stars

As pilgrims we did not prebook our accommodation and we were late coming into town  which meant all the rooms at 'the inn(s)' were booked.  We stood in the downtown centre street with our backpacks on and tried to make a plan when a man approached asking us if we were lost.  He understood some English combined with T's bad Spanish so we were able to explain our predicament.  He told us to wait there, ran across the street and came back a few minutes later with the information for the Hotel Zende.  Telling us it was just on the edge of town (maybe 800 meters away) and very good for pilgrims.  With no problem finding it we stepped back into time with this wonderful dated hotel.  Still off season so it seemed mostly vacant with only a few cars in the large lot.  The front staff was friendly and casual and gave us a great rate.  We were more then happy with our simple room, hot shower and small balcony.  We walked back into town and had a wonderful pilgrim dinner. We were only minutes away from the start of the camino in the morning.

Very good budget hotel for pilgrims walking the Camino.

this hotel has to be worse than a refuse dump. we had a triple room. the lights were not working in the corridor . i fell down 2 steps nearly broke my arm .  the balcony was a joke.
2 broken chairs .an table. tiles were falling off the balcony ledge.  could not sit out there was afraid the balcony might collapse .

A nice but old hotel; the normal day-to-day cleaning but poor maintenance. The room and terrace with dirt on the floor, the dryer doesn't work, you point it out at the reception and they tell you they need to fix it, but nothing. The normal breakfast. The rooms are on the first floor and have no elevator. Two overcuts of gel for two people in three nights. The air conditioning engine works but no cooling. They need to improve a lot.
