The room was horrible, nothing like on the pictures they show… small beds with old mattress without mattress covers, then sheets. The furniture were old and damaged, floor was not even swept, dirty floor, dirty molded shower, with broken shower handle holder, so it’s laying on the floor. No AC with windows facing the street, so people smoking and fumes from nearby restaurants that’s what you smell inside. I received my full payment back, I booked a nice room in Novotel nearby for 50 so (10-15$) more per night but with huge clean bed, nice shower, ac, and safety to leave my luggage in the room. It should be called a hostel not a hotel.

Horrible and dirty

We stayed in the family room - one double bed + two sofas; kitchen corner. 
The kitchen is well equipped- coffee/ tea; coffee machine; dishes etc.
The room was more apartment type, rather than a hotel.

Room was spacious; high ceilings, but few furniture - so it left you longing for something more.
Clean. No hairdryer and no bathroom utilities. 

The service was very friendly; kind hostess; easy check-in and out.

Rooms are in the 3rd and 4th floor, no elevator; quite long stairs.

Breakfast was moderate, have expected more for that money.

Parking was available in the street, but there were no free places (we arrived at about 21 pm during the week). There was a parking area at the end of the street - parking area Usługi Parkingowe Józef. There is a ticket machine, you can pay cash or card 4 PLN for an hour.

Apartment to stay at overnight with the family

Not bad place to stay for 1-2 nights 15 minutes from the city centre. A bit noisy rooms (you can hear your neighbor) however rooms are very stylish and unique - in a old fashioned way. Good location, very good place near by for breakfast (Ptasie Radio) and very helpful and polite staff.

On the negative site: I noticed too late that the hotel did not have air conditioning ( after having paid for it ) so I asked for a room as cool as possible. ( being an Icelander this is essential ;) We had indeed this room not facing the sun but again facing the street. The noise from the street was enormous and it interupted our sleep. You had to climbe 52 stairs to third floor to the room which was ok for us and a good excercise but not at all for older people or people with disability. 

And the positive site: The room we had was big and beautiful and the hotel is in a nice neighbourhood only 15 minustes to walk to the old square ( Stary Ryna ) The recption, though quite small was ok and staff nice. Overall this is a very good value hotel

Excellent value hotel !

It was March 8th. I booked a lot of time and asked for a big bed. I got a response from the management with assurances that my request would be granted. But before we left, I got a letter from them with an old hotel story about what just happened, the previous guest broke the toilet, can't be repaired and I won't get a single bed. When I arrived, we were standing for 30 minutes near a closed door (code lock). We waited until someone came out.

I'm really upset.

It's really close to the city centre. The staff is really nice and helpful they kept our luggage after we checked out for a whole day. The rooms are incredible, high ceiling, clean, new and well equipped. The breakfast could be better as well as the small breakfast room as there are only few tables where you can sit. 

The only negative point is the lack of elevator which can be a problem for some people and the fact that not all the building is a hotel there are offices to rent and conference rooms which make it a bit weird.

highly recommended

I didn't expect the apartments to be so nice and cozy! The first time we met the New Year was not at home and at all abroad! The trip was made up of a family of 4 people. 2 children 13 years old and we. Good that we stopped our attention on these apartments. Bought what in the description of CESTNO indicated that the room was on the top floor. Honestly unlike apartments in Bratislava where we played for two days. Read my review.

It can't be!

Just. WOWWWWW!!!!!
everything is awesome, food is awesome and afordoble,  the rooms are very big and also awesome. I have NOTHING bad to say. It was my best experience in a hotel/apartment. RECOMANDED!!!!!! worths every penny!

Geographically, this is a flat above all praise: from the balcony you can see the city's cultural center - the former Kaiser Wilhelm Castle, where exhibitions and other entertainment are now held, and to the Market Square, only one kilometer with a small tail. The interior of the hotel is also very original: it seems that in the old classical building there were luxurious and wealthy apartment buildings, which are now divided into separate hotel rooms with common corridors. In the room decorated for the 19th century, there is everything necessary for life, including high ceilings and hot water, but there are also some flaws to this status.

Across the Castle

The most offensive thing is that I've been married for 10 years. Other rooms are supposedly all booked out. 3 more employees and attachment are making fun of us, they don't take us seriously. Rooms are very bright, uncomfortable, heating doesn't work at 1 degree outside temperature! Only 1 towel for everything, the floor is dirty, the windows are dirty. Shower is dirty, parking is dirty. Service is not available in English and there is no shortage of service. We're never going to get another one at 20 hours, because we shouldn't be blaming ourselves for anything else, even if we're not at the top of the McDonald's, we're not even at the top of the list!
