We just stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! The rooms and other areas were all so clean and tidy. The restaurant served delicious food and the breakfast had plenty of choice. It’s a great location, just a short walk to El Nido town. We really loved it here and would highly recommend. Thank you to the staff for our lovely stay.

Lovely resort with the kindest staff. The resort has 3 general areas, each with its own pool. The restaurant, Jinjer, is a standout and served some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had - and I’m Filipino! It is elevated Filipino food that is really great. Loved the spa too. And the free tuk tuks to town were a great touch. Highly recommend

I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The staff were all so friendly, kind, and accommodating. The room was beautiful, and the amenities were perfect. The restaurant had incredible breakfast and dinner options. One of the best travel experiences overall that I’ve had with a hotel.

Our stay would have been 5/5 except for one recurring blemish! I will absolutely go back for the beautiful scenary, the garden landscaping, very kind staff, and nice spa. It was the perfect getaway for a couple. Very convenient to have access to everything but just slightly removed from the crowded loud area of town center. Also loved the transportation/tour arrangement shop and souvenir shop just across the road.The one concern I want to raise for management and future guests is the cat that can get quite aggressive jumping on to the table and snatching your food in the restaurant. While most (including myself at first) find it cute that the cat is wandering around the dining area, it started to become problematic once we ordered fish and the cat was relentless in trying to take it from our table (even after staff took the cat away, it came right back).We brought it to the staff’s attention and they tried to blame us for giving food to the cat (we didn’t! This made me upset but otherwise staff was nice so I let it go). The staff didnt seem to think it was a serious concern. Hope management will realize not everyone wants to eat their food constantly worrying the cat is gna jump on the table and swarm around their legs under the table. Some ppl are scared of animals.Anyway, if you are a guest and not willing to draw attention from the cat, just don’t order fish at Jinjer.

Gardens, pools and view beautiful.
Rooms exceptionally clean and comfortable.
Be aware there is no bar fridge to keep water, milk for tea and coffee and drinks cold.
Breakfast included was delicious and buffet selection adequate.
We agree with the “No Food Waste” policy, but to suggest that you would fine a guest for leaving food on the plate is absurd.
Food at the restaurant of a very high standard and a good mix of local and international choices.
Staff absolutely fantastic and a special mention to Mary for her outstanding service.
Complimentary Tuk Tuk service to Town Square very handy.
The only negative to our experience was observing on multiple occasions the rude and demeaning manner in which the male owner, whom hovered constantly, spoke to staff in front of guests.

We had a great time here - fabulous staff, beautiful location and great restaurant
We loved the layout of the hotel (3 separate pool areas), the staff were amazing, and we really appreciated the complimentary tuk tuks to town whenever we wanted to go in (although it’s only a 6-7 minute easy walk)
Restaurant food was excellent!

Great hotel for visiting El nido

What a gem! Hotel employees went the extra mile to provide a great stay! They helped me coronate transportation to and from the airport as well as the boat trip. Property location is beautiful and the resort grounds are wonderful. Breakfast is great! My only (slight) complaint was the Happy Hour sign was still out at the bar when it was actually past Happy Hourso I assumed it was still during that time but it was not. Regardless would easily recommend and return to this wonderful place.

Cadlao was a welcome oasis after weeks of hard travel. Everyone from the front desk staff to our server Monica in the restaurant provided the most professional customer service conceivable. Free shuttle into the busy little town 24hr a day. Included breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from. Must try the coffee jello! Dinner specials changed every night and the presentation and preparation was flawless. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds, hot water and strong AC. Can't ask for more. In fact, we changed our travel plans to stay two extra days at Cadlao -- it was that great.

Oasis of comfort and customer service.

The hotel staff is lovely, courteous, and pleasant. However, the internet is unbearable and non-functional. The room is nice but basic, definitely not a five-star experience, perhaps a four at best. Overall, it's pleasant but nothing more than that. The food is exceedingly expensive and doesn't really justify the asking price.

The best hotel in El Nido town. It’s at the far end of town but they provide free tricycle drop offs and it’s in easy access to the island hopping tours. The room we had was small but had everything we needed and only used it to sleep in so it suited us. The air con wasn’t working when we arrived but they called the engineers straight away and had it fixed that evening for us. The views are beautiful, the staff are all really friendly and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered we enjoyed and the price was reasonable for the quality.
If we ever return to El Nido we won’t be booking anywhere else. Cadlao wins for us.

Beautiful hotel just outside El Nido town

The resort is located where its quiet enough to relax and not too far to walk to town (10 mins on leisure walk). Though the hotel provides free tuktuk drop off to town. In town, there are lots of nice bar and restaurants and the best part for us is there is a good gym as well as a nice spa and coffee shop called Rituals Coffee. The resort is only accessible by tricycle and not by van because of the very narrow road. So from the airport, dont make a mistake of booking a van because the van can only drive you to town. Upon exit from the airport, just walk outside and you will see the tricycle terminal. Theres a dispatcher who will assist you to get your ride and will also show a price list of their standard rates (which is Php350 to Cadlao Resort or about US$6.0).

ROOM: We booked the standard room “Apitong”. Its a few steps from the main entrance and a number of steps to the restaurant and pool area. Its a good size room with a balcony facing the garden. The a/c combined with a ceiling fan is a perfect combo that will give you a nice cool temperature to get a good night sleep. My girlfriend find the pillow a bit hard but for me it was perfect to get a good resting position since I normally use two pillows to get a nice head elevation, but here, I only needed one and never had any neck issues the next day. They provide beach, bath, gym and face towels which are consistently changed every morning when cleaning the room. The lighting is perfect for a romantic night but unfortunately not friendly for people with poor vision and will find it too dark especially when finding things around or in your luggage. I hope they can install adjustable lights where you can dim or make it really bright or perhaps add additional light by the dresser table. The safely box is made of wood (small treasure box style) fixed in the closet with padlock. I suggest you bring your own medium size padlock if you want to feel secured whilst leaving your valuables. They provide shower gel, shampoo and lotion plus the usual toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap and small hair dryer. 

SERVICE: The hospitality exceeds a 5-star hotel service which we were not expecting from the beginning, Kaye was so lovely and accommodating in helping by giving suggestions on how to spend our inland tour for a day. She suggested that we rent a scooter (if we are comfortable or know how to ride a motorbike) instead of hiring a tuktuk (tricycle) which will turn out to be more expensive and can only have limited access to places that we want to go to. Kaye even arranged the scooter rental and managed to get a discounted rate for the whole day (from Php1000 to 800 - which is US$14.00). Indeed it was a fantastic suggestion, we managed to ride around and go to very remote places that no tricyle service can go. The best part was the freedom and no restrictions of time and locations, its just a great convenience. Another noteworthy is the female staff at the restaurant (too bad I forgot her name but you will never miss her because she always carry a wonderful smile and always asking hows everything). When she learned that our flight is in the morning and we need to leave around 6am the following day, she asked if we wanted her to arrange an early breakfast to go since the restaurant opens at 7am. We said we just needed a nice hot coffee, she guaranteed us that she will arrange it to have the coffee ready, hot and available at before 6am. True enough, it was ready at 6am. Since we packed early, we even have enough time to sit and enjoy our coffee. We even managed to request the kitchen staff to make us scrambled egg whites, bread and butter. When you're a frequent traveller and look for not too expensive places, small things matter. Those little things make the experience worthwhile, memorable, not to mention “value for money”.  So kudos to the whole Cadlao El Nido Resort team. Keep up the wonderful work and I trust that you will continue to be consistent with the legacy you are making to make an El Nido experience amazing!

The resort doesnt have a nice beach front. Its filled with shells, rocks and pebbles (but if they manage to sift the sand, it can make a big difference - Im sure guests will be encouraged to sunbathe by the beach front). Thats the only disadvantage I can say about it, however, the pool is a perfect spot to watch the beautiful sunset which is truly a gem to witness.

FOOD wide variety of choices, but dont miss out the chicken adobo as well as the catch of the day. We ordered the tanigue (white fish) cooked green curry style, it was amazing!

Highly recommended for great customer service, hospitality and accommodation.
