For an old hotel its maintained quite nicely. The rooms are clean and have lots of surface areas. Their furnitures are those of kind that will last a long time and has already an antique feel to it. It was really a surprise about the quality of their materials. From the tiles, furnitures, embroided linens, new curtains and even the shower curtains which exceeded our expectations for real. They have a great beacfront location and their swimming pool is huge with a designated kids area that our daughter loves! They could improve I think on the overall presentation of the main lobby like detailed cleaning. They still have fairy lights and christmas decors in August And as the title of my review. I LOST MY WALLET after we had our dinner in their resto. But our server Christian found it and anticipated our return on that same night and returned it to me! That kind of attitude, you cannot teach that. And that kind of honesty and attitude are worth more than a 5-star rating! Thank you again Christian and Golden Phoenix Boracay you have good people!
