VIP House Hostel

This place is amazing!! So relaxing and homely especially after the big hikes. David on the front desk/ Pisco sour connoisseur is a legend. Great people stay and work here it’s a gem. Highly recommend as a base from exploring Cusco. VIP Hostal has free coca tea and free breakfast too :)

This place felt like a home to me! One of the only hostels with a kitchen which was so nice to have! Breakfast is included and delicious and was so nice to wake up to every morning. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The beds are big and comfy with a full curtain, outlets, and a personal light. The showers have hot water!!! There is plenty of space to work/chill solo and common spaces to socialize! Good location too! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone coming to Cusco :)

Really nice hostel in a great location. No steep steps to contend with here! We were upgraded to a room with ensuite which was lovely after our Salkantey Trek. The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was decent. The hostel is in an old building with cool features. The staff were so friendly, particularly Davide who took the free pisco sour making lesson. We had a great time. It's low season currently so it was quiet but this suited us.

The best pisco sour lessons in Cusco. Plenty of information and great experience mixing our own drinks. And advice on travel around Cusco, too. Highly recommend. Eduardo is a brilliant bartender and helped us to learn about the origins and combinations of the drinks

Amazing place to stay, greatest  staff, comfy rooms and sour Piscos!! I was going to check a few other Hostels, but I liked it so much that booked my whole stay here. Free breakfast was perfect and the facility was quant and cozy. Will definitely  be back!

The location of the bar/ hostel is very good in the centre. Very good Free prisco sour workshop! With our fun guid Ricardo! Good friends and fun night. We had 2 Free pisco sour shots but he left the pisco bottle so we had some more... thanks guys for a good night!

Good hostel well located in Cusco. Not too loud and offers a good variety of singles, doubles and dorm rooms. Luggage storage is available free of charge and the hostel staff even let guests utilise trekking equipment (walking poles) and mosquito repellant. Kitchen is a little on the small side but has a good communal area for meeting fellow travellers. Recommend a this hostel.

Really nice hostel if you want a place to meet people and cook your own food. The rooms are nice and beds are good and clean. Every bed also has a outlet which is helpful. There are fun pisco sour making classes every night and the staff are all really nice and helpful!!( especially Eduardo and Lea!)

My stay in VIP HOUSE HOSTEL was super nice. Great location, safe place and friendly staff. They helped me out arranging my daily  tours and i got pretty good deals. Highly recomended for solo or families trips.

Great hostel in the heart of Cusco

Eduardo and the staff here are very knowledgeable and helpful with all things around cusco. The staff are fellow travelers and have created a great atmosphere at this hostel. It is a very quiet and beautiful property located close to downtown. Clean and cozy beds with plenty of room to find a quiet corner if need be. Enjoy!

Cozy, quiet, and clean  hostel near downtown

I’ve spent months in Cusco and this is my favorite hostel. Older but very clean and nice chill vibes. Met backpackers and fellow solo female travelers here.  The people who work here are very welcoming and accommodating. Good prices, sufficiently hot shower, dinner and breakfast available for reasonable price. I also booked tours with this hostel. Lots of common areas to hang out in.

The staff have been some of the best i have come across in any hostel i have stayed at.  The protests have made sightseeing difficult but the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure i got to see what i needed to at a reasonable price.  The rooms are good value for money and the company has been great.  The hostel is clean and well run.  Would highly recommend to anybody.

Best hostel stay i have experienced.

Great room, friendly staff & brilliant location. Very much enjoyed the breakfasts each morning. The wifi was very fast. Bathrooms were clean. 

I stayed here for three nights - they were happy to store my gear in a secure location whilst undertaking a trek. I also had a good time on the walking tour.

Great location, clean rooms and friendly staff

Absolutely loved staying here.  Such a cute little hostel in a great location.  The staff is very personable and friendly.  We got help with everything we needed immediately.   It was also very quiet.  All tenants were super chill and respectful.  Reasonably priced food and beer.  Clean.  Hot water.  It isn’t fancy but if you are looking for an affordable option, this one is a winner for sure!

Sweet little quiet place for a great price

Staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping accidentally threw our painting away in the recycling (it was rolled up in a tube and placed with our belongings but they somehow thought it was rubbish) but the young guy at reception was very helpful and helped us find it! We stayed in a private room which was clean and comfortable and had a heater. Unfortunately the hot water in our shower didn’t really work but this wasn’t a big issue as we used the shared showers instead and these worked great. A chilled quiet hostel to stay at if you need a good rest especially before or after a hike! It is located directly opposite a supermarket and with many laundry services around too.
