Geco Camp Sifah

Arrived at Sifah camp for 4 days and just could not believe the views and ambiance. The tents were great with loads of space for 2 and lots of shade under the canopy for those quiet moments. The camp is located on the beach and there is good safe swimming and walking in the area. Showers and facilities are great and the site is always clean. 
Could not fault the place.

Enjoyed my stay in the camp with my family , very relaxing place , the large tent is suitable for more than 4 ppl , no restaurant in the place so you have to bring your own food for BBQ . I recommended this place .

Really enjoyed our visit to Sifah. Arrived for opening night of The Bank, a restaurant about 10 minutes drive down the same road. Camp is nice but take your own food so they can BBQ it for you! 

Issue whilst checking in as a large group as they didn't have our names down, we were given rent a closest to entrance (handy for unpacking car) 17 rial for small tent (Okay value) but larger tipees can hold 6 people and is only 40 or 50 rial so probably better value. 

It is a family friendly camp so emoji g is done outside of walls/gates.

i really enjoyed my visit. quite, clean place. but it miss some activities, if would they provide for  rent like jetski or banana boat or if thy would arrange for snorkeling/ diving trip will be perfect.
as it a bit far from city( muscat), especially if its family trip, kids needs some activities............. overall, its worth a visit

Lovely & Romantic place !

Jebel Sifa is a wonderful place. Along a beautiful and adventurous road from Muscat and tge best place to take your 4x4 to play in the dunes and camp on the beach to watch the stars and phosphorescent waves crashing on a beach surrounded by awesome mountains. 
Geco camp is a worthy but pretty prosaic attempt to package all that. Permanently pitched tents on concrete bases. A chainlink fence with locked gates and situated next to a concrete batching plant on the only half kilometer of unsandy beach in otherwise unbroken 20km of perfection.  
For the same money as one night here you can buy a 5 person tent in Muscat. The one we bought has lasted us about 20 such trips already. 
Having said that we had fun. When they unpadlock the gates tge kids spend hours on the slimy rocks trying not to step on the numerous enormous sea slugs and spotting sea cucumbers starfish and sea urchins in the green brown sludgy puddles.
