The unit was spacious, clean with many amenities including washing machine/drier and dish washer. The complex is very well kept with a feeling of newness.Our unit was No.38 overlooking the pool and grounds and we would recommend this unit to anyone. Lovely outdoor balcony with table and chairs.
Most affordable. 

The best accomodation in our 15 nights of stay in North Island, New Zealand. The 2nd floor unit has louvre windows and doors instead of blinds/curtains. Very well furnished and finishings. The kitchen is well equipped even down to dish washing tablet. The fridge is decent size not smallish. The bathroom is also filled with amenities. The bed is very comfortable with power sockets at both sides. Overall, everything is well thought out and provided by the owner. It made a lasting impression on us and every accomodation should take a leaf from the Aqua Soleil Villas. 

Everything that was listed in the ad was accurate, great views, amenities & location.  Was a little hot upstairs however it was 30deg days in mid February, there are fans provided which help.  Pool is great for the kids & is heated to 27deg, there's spa pool as well however the spa pool is only open form 5pm. Wifi was good & fast & free.  BBQ right on deck looing out a the bay. Fully self contained with unit with  2x toilets & all household amenities, might be time for a new lounge suite current 2 reclining's chairs & a 2 seater couch.  Easy flat ride or 35 min walk into Whitianga or Taxi van $20 only 3 min drive if you have  car.

We spent two very comfortable nights in Villa 38 at Aqua Soleil Villas across the road from the beach in Whitianga New Zealand. The villa, essentially a 1-bedroom apartment, was nicely fitted out and maintained to a high standard. The clean modern kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom beautifully detailed and the bed quite comfortable. The quiet location just outside of the centre of Whitianga is conducive to a good night's sleep while being convenient to the town's restaurants and shops. The owner was readily accessible, responded quickly to questions and generally pleasant to deal with. We would highly recommend this accommodation and would stay there again.

Much bigger than a motel room and fully self contained. We didn’t cook meals, only using the kitchen for breakfast but everything in the unit was clean and tidy. Views across the harbour and very short walk to the beach. Would happily stay here again 

The apartment we stayed in was showing a bit of wear and tear with the furniture and was a bit dusty around the edges (could do with a bit of a spring clean) - but overall we had a very satisfactory stay and it was on par with a well sized motel apartment. 

Beds were good and linen was clean (and plenty of towels were provided).

Our kids loved the pool - a highlight of the stay. We would stay there again just for the pool :)

Location-wise it’s a fair way out of town but if you have a car it’s only 5 minutes to town. 

These units are part of a quiet residential complex with well maintained gardens. Some units have stunning water views. The 3 bedroom units are spacious with well appointed kitchens. Would prefer to have leather couches rather than fabric and the cleaning standard could be better (a little mould in upstairs bathroom and cobwebs on the ceiling), but the kitchen was very clean. Supermarkets and town centre are a flat bike ride or 5 min drive away, with a good selection of coffee shops and restaurants. The bay is fairly sheltered, with close access to a boat ramp and dog beach. Would happily stay again.

Villa 32 - well furnished with well tought touches.

Aqua Soleil Villas, a comfortable retreat on the Coromandel.

Great place to stay 

This property has lots of potential, but needs some love and care. 

Positives: comfortable bed in master, good pillows and linens  Easy parking (2 spots right at the door). Great shower (plenty of hot water and excellent t water pressure). Really nice quality fluffy towels!

Could be improved: Smells musty. Couches were dirty and old. Plates in cabinet not clean. Cutlery grotty and drawer dirty. Cobwebs (around the fridge, on the windows). Oven dirty.  Range hood greasy. 

This unit was advertised on Agoda showing ocean views and a front of property view of the ocean, but we were in unit 30 where the view is the back of other units. The photos of the listing can be deceptive. 

If this unit was clean and the listing was clear about it not having any views, I’d give it 4 stars based on what you get for the price.

Has potential

We stayed in villa 30 and it certainly was looking a bit tired.
The floors and sofas downstairs obviously hadn’t been cleaned as there was cereal on the floors and sand in the sofas.  Disappointed with the cleanliness of the ‘villa’.  Also found sweet wrapper behind bedside table in one of the rooms which was easily spotted.
Also found an extremely dirty cup, so we washed all the crockery and cutlery before we used it.  There was a distinct odour coming from I suspect the waste disposal which was not pleasant.
I did mention the cleaning issues when I caught a representative as we left.
The villa was pretty well equipped but lacked privacy and could do with some net curtains.  We had to keep the curtains shut or else everyone could see in.  
It was nice to have a pool and hot tub but unfortunately both were too crowded late afternoon to make full use of them

Disappointed - especially the cleanliness

Our visit to Aqua Soleil left us with mixed feelings. We had villa 35 on the ground floor adjacent to the swimming pool. The things which we really appreciated were: 
- the washer and dryer in our villa
- the swimming pool and very clean outdoor spa tub
The things which were disappointing:
- the owner who lives in a unit on site did not bother to come and say hello
- pillows were almost flat
- the layout of the kitchen was difficult to work in
- for a 6 night stay there was inadequate supply/refreshing of bath soap, tea towels, bath towels, tea, coffee etc.
