I stayed at Roompot with a group including a team of young people competing in a sports competition. The facilities worked really well for us as the houses all had a large, open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. The shop on site was also really handy. The houses were well equipped and very clean and within easy travel distance of the town.

We rented a very spacious, clean and well equiped one bedroom apartment (44B) for a midweek. The kitchen was well equiped, the bathroom had a separate bath and shower and the WiFi was good. Even though we had an apartment on the ground floor, we didn't hear any other guests or noise.
The apartment building was well located near the seaside and walking distance to plenty of restaurants, a big supermarket and public transport to Scheveningen and The Hague. 
We could not find our parking spot in the secured parking, however there were plenty of free parking spaces next to the building.
It's a great place for visiting Scheveningen, the Hague or for a nice walk on the beach.


We stayed in an appartment (CV2) which is the smallest with view towards the yacht harbour of Scheveningen. We were traveling as a couple with a 4 year old. We booked on Roompot about 3 weeks in advance and recieved our Keycard by post a week before we left. The Nautisch Centrum is easy to find in Scheveningen as there are signs on the main road that show the way. On arrival we could use our keycard for the gate of the big garage under the building and there is plenty of parking - just use the parking spaces with the Roompot logo. The keycard can be used in all the doors in the area. The appartment was spacious with a dining area, sitting area, sleeping room, separate toilet, shower with a big bath and had everything we needed for our two week stay: fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The view over the jacht harbour is calming and nice. If you need supplies you can walk around the harbor and there is a Jumbo Supermarket about 5 minutes away. There is also a row of 7 different restaurants just opposite the appartment (seafood, Japanese, Greek, Italian, Chinese, a beer-restaurant and a Steakhouse)- A huge beach is also a few minutes walk the other way. There is also a bus (22) which stops quite close as well as a tram which goes to The Hague centre (17) a little further away. We also had full free use of the swimming pool at the Kijkdun Vakantiepark some kilometres away. For us this stay felt luxurious and it was a perfect place for us to be. We were also so luckyto experience the yearly "Sinterklaas intocht" from an armlength distance. We will definately use this apartment the next time we visit The Hague.

Paid around £300 for a four night stay over the Easter Holiday which in my opinion is a decent price.

Loved Netherlands, and this is a decent base to look around. Sadly the weather was so cold, but can’t blame Roompot from that. The apartment was decent and the view from the balcony really nice. The parking spot underneath is perfectly located. Additionally there is a Jumbo supermarket quite close by, and a bus stop into The Hague (you can actually see it from the apartments).

That said a few negatives which loses the apartment one star. The location is fine, but to get to the beach is a bit of a long walk mainly because you have to head in the other direction to get around the marina. Also some mornings we were woken by noise from the sea, mainly general work noise, as big iron girders were being reinforced in the harbour. That’s to be expected in the location, but 7am is so early! Finally the drive out to the holiday park to pick up and drop off keys is an additional 40 mins to an hour there and back. Not really what you want to be doing, but the staff there were friendly and helpful.

So all in all we had a good stay at a decent price, with a few negative points.
