We loved our three night stay at De Zonnehoed! Our family of 4 stayed in the detached, studio apartment which was tidy, cozy and offered plenty of privacy. We slept well in the comfy beds (2 in the living room, 2 upstairs) and Martin, the friendly owner, delivered a delicious, well presented breakfast to our door each morning...a great way to start the day! Enjoyed watching the resident chickens, sheep and cows out our window. Took several nice walks along the canal past the windmill. Easy access to the gardens at Keukenhof...a must see! Drove 10 minutes to the supermarket (Albert Heijn) in Sassenheim and used the mini fridge to store snacks/lunch food. **Make sure you have Euros as Martin does not accept credit cards.
