& in fairness that is my only real complaint!
Located close to shops and restaurants, this is a simple, clean, basic Lodge.
There are 2 gardens with views over Pokhara, one with 2 lovely hammocks, and meals and refreshments are served on them, despite the climbs. Mind you, we preferred to walk a 100m and enjoy the great choice of cafes, bars and restaurants.
If you cannot read/write German don't bother using the PC in reception. It is slow and even Microsoft packages are differently configured for the German market. Again, go a 100 m to small Internet shop and get half an hour of fast broadband for 60 rupees.
The Manageress is lovely, helpful, and puts effort into extras such as fresh flowers in every nook and cranny. If she ever left, one feels the place would not be half the pleasure to visit.

This hotel is clean and spacious, providing hot water 24 hours a day. It is round the corner from the main string of restaurants , shops, laundry service and the lake.It offers basic accommodation in rather shabby rooms but the points in its favour are the price; the fact that there was never any problem with hot water; the sunny balconies it has on each floor where you can sit and relax ,and that they were happy to look after our packs while we went on a week's trek . They were also very helpful in lending us cleaning items to help scrub a backpack and very cheerful and easy-going about everything .I would recommend that you take ear plugs, however, as dogs in the surrounding area appear to start up a dawn chorus of barking at roughly 4am.

Pleasant and welcoming hotel conveniently situated

Close to the main drag and lake but also just far enough that noise pollution is less of a problem at night. Staff were super friendly and accommodating - very eager to please. I stayed for two nights. The first night I had a spacious room with huge window and ensuit - the toilet bowl was cracked so I changed rooms. The second room was smaller, with small window looking into a construction site. Beds were not particularly comfortable - mattresses a bit thin and pillow like a bag of flour (hard). Other guests were fairy loud both during the night and early morning.

Great location and staff

I went there in the high season so only the cheapest room where available. The neighbours were very noisy impossible to sleep in.  I was usually woken up at 6am. There was a lot of insects in the room (ants everywhere in the shower). The toilet worked every so often. However the view on the roof top is amazing. It might be better if you book a one of the expensive rooms. 

Good location but noisy and a lot of insect in the room. 

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on the bottom floor right by the entrance. The mosquito nets in the windows were broken and the outside windows did not close so there were a lot of bugs in the room. There were ants in the shower walls, behind the sink and around our bedroom, including our bed. We woke up every morning at 6 am with the noise of cars and people in the building next door. There was hot water only half the time. The view from the roof terrace was lovely though, very beautiful. The location was also very good.
