excellent hotel in a tourist area, despite the presence of restaurants around, good soundproofing, very polite and caring staff, delicious breakfast. I liked it. Here you can also book excursions and trekking. and get the necessary advice. I recommend for independent and family travel

Great hotel, comfy and big bed. I had my own shower and toilet. Breakfast were included. The ladies who work at the hotel seemed nice and they prepared probably the best breakfast in Thamel. This hotel is on a bit more expensive side, but I was happy to stay here.

I’ve come here several times when in Kathmandu, it’s location it’s in the heart of Thamel. This place has very good energy it feels like coming to a second family. 
The rooms are clean, best part it’s that they have sound prof windows. A simple but delicious breakfast it’s included always grateful for it. The staff are very friendly and the owner is a caring individual that is always willing to make my stay  a lot easier.

Stayed with Yogendra (owner) for 7 nights in early late July and couldn't have asked for a better combination of amenities and price. Rooms are huge and very clean with great beds. BnB has 24hour hot water and power backup which in Kathmandhu is not always a given. Wi-Fi is some of the fastest I've experienced in local stays in Nepal. Simple breakfast served every morning was nice. Yogendra is a great manager and arranged for late night pickup from the airport for us and set us up with someone who could arrange drivers for us for the week. A great stay and would recommend to anyone! 

The hotel located in the heart of Thamel, has two floors and few rooms, there’s also the kitchen u can use. My room was clean and comfortable , had an ac. Breakfast was very good as well. This is for sure the best option for this price in Ktm

My stay here was great for 2 months. Yogendra and his staff are incredibly gracious and accommodating and flexible. Highly recommend this place which is centrally located in the cool location of Thamel!

I’ve given this place 5 stars but there’s a few things you should be made aware of.....

The host is fantastic, he even arranged your pick up from the airport...the breakfast is great and the beds are clean and comfortable.

The things that are out with his control but you should know are: it’s a very noisy location at night, we had a 5 year old and she found it difficult to sleep, the room with 4 single beds is not en suite like others, it’s a very short walk across the corridor to the ablutions, this room also has a large window which overlooks the stairwell and reception area which means the lights shine into the room until late at night, so again not the room id choose for children or light sleepers.

Those are simple room selection issues that you should be aware of... other than that the BnB is the best in the area and I would stay again (we actually tried to extend but the rooms were already sold)...


I’ve been travelling round India and Nepal for several weeks and this has been the best place yet. Very clean which is difficult to maintain at the best of times but in Kathmandu....omg the beds were heaven sent. We had an epic bus journey to get here from Darjeeling. We were exhausted and fed up and needed to sleep. The beds are so comfortable, clean and western style bedding with great pillows. We’d done weeks of hard beds, cool showers iffy cleanliness and intermittent WiFi. This place scores 10 out of 10 on all fronts. Hot water and lots of it. The bathroom cleaned daily and a proper towel each!!! If you can book here then do it. I’d recommend this place to my kids and my parents, it’s good for everyone of all ages. The staff are superb and the breakfast is a great added bonus. 

We had a great two nights at B and B Thamel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic and the location in the middle of Thamel was very convenient. We will stay here again when we return. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. 

Everything is within walking distance, good wifi, clean rooms and good breakfast. Fantastic value for money.
