Hemos pasado una semana hospedados en el Riad Itry y no podemos estar más contentos por haberlo elegido. La casa es preciosa con su encanto típico.

 Omar, Khamal y el otro compañero (que lo siento, nunca te pregunté tu nombre pero siempre te levantabas de la cama para abrirnos la puerta jajaja, muchas gracias por eso!). Son todos un encanto y siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte con lo que sea, pregunta sin preocupación. 
La casa bien ubicada, y para encontrarla, tienes la estación de autobuses y muchas paradas de urbanos en una plaza a 3 mins. Nosotros llegamos en taxi que nos dejó en una calle principal por al lado de una farmacia, y ya caminar 2 minutillos. Después  ya yendo y viniendo te conoces el camino, es fácil. La ida a la plaza es un camino bonito, viendo un barrio un poco menos turístico, y vas viendo como hacen su día a día. Una vez te metes más en la medina es puro comercio. El paseito al centro ha acabado siendo de una de las cosas más bonitas del viaje. A disfrutarlo!

We have spent a week staying at Riad Itry and we could not be happier for having chosen it. The house is beautiful with its typical charm.

 Omar, Khamal and the other partner (who I'm sorry, I never asked your name but you always got out of bed to open the door for us hahaha, thank you so much for that!). They are all a pleasure and they are always willing to help you with anything, ask them without worries. 
The house is in a good location, and to find it, you have the bus station and many bus stops in a square 3 mins away. We arrived by cab that left us on a main street next to a pharmacy, and walk 2 minutes. After that you know your way around, it's easy. The walk to the square is a nice way, seeing a neighborhood a little less touristy, seeing how they do their day to day. Once you get deeper into the medina it is just pure commerce. The walk to the center has turned out to be one of the most beautiful things of the trip. Enjoy it!

Me ha gustado mucho

This is a magical place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Marrakech - it is a nice neighbourhood location but also close enough to the markets, and has a welcoming atmosphere. We are so grateful we got to know the host, kamal, he is a very kind and helpful person, and made our time in Morocco a really interesting and warm experience from the start. Riad Itry is a beautiful space. Sukran, we will hopefully return soon!

Kamal is by far the best host I've ever had and quite possibly the best host in all of Morocco! My friend Nos and I stayed here twice and would come back any time and highly recommend this place! It's central, clean, quiet, very reasonably priced, the beds are comfortable and even though the rooms don't have an own bathroom, there are plenty of shared bathrooms.

All the employees are super friendly!

Kamal is quick in responding, friendly, generous and unbelievably kind! He helped whenever and wherever he could, gave us suggestions, organised things for us and was always reachable. He's funny and just a great guy! I would recommend this place to everyone!

The best host. Period!

It is a very authentic place. Three floors. Clean and tidy. In the terraze you have a small cute space to sit down and relax but the walls are so high that you will struggle to see marrakech. Omar and his friends were very nice and they talk many languages. There was hot water. I slept great as it is really quiet. It may be difficult to find it the first time but you will have most of the things you need around the riad. Good relation price/quality.

Authentic place

The hostel is based within the city wall, a good location the walk to all the hot spots in Marrakech. Kamal gave us good information about these hot spots and thanks to that we had a great experience. The hostel has multiple bath-/toilet facilities and a roof terrace to digest the adventures of the day. In the small kitchen you can prepare some food or fresh mint tea.

Friendly recovering in Marrakech

The Riad is at a great location and has a nice roof terrace. Furthermore it stays cold in the day, which is great.
But most of all the staff is really really friendly! We got sick and he cared a lot, made us tea and offered to go to the pharmacie for us. That made the bad situation a lot better.
So thanks a lot for the nice stay and all your help! 

Good riad, but most of all very friendly people

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights in a room with a single and double bed.  Our hosts could not do enough for us, and nothing was too much trouble.
Riad Itry is tucked away down an alley coming off a traditional market street, with the bus station very close.  The Riad is a 10 minute walk from the square and the Souks.
The central courtyard area and use of the kitchen make this a fantastic place to meet and chat to other travellers, as well as spend time with the hosts.  Perfect.

Authentic, Friendly and Relaxed

We had to spontaneously escape to the Riad Itry for a few nights and were in a two-room room. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable on one side because some feathers were raised. Especially the bathroom, which was not even cleaned during our stay and was constantly underwater, was a major point of criticism. The location is fine, Djeema el Fna is about a 25-minute walk away, and many buses also stop at Bab Doukkala. Kamal, the operator of the Riad, is a very friendly and helpful person.

Lack of cleanliness and comfort

I stayed at Riad Itry as a solo female traveller for one night before my flight out of Marrakech the next morning. The riad is absolutely beautiful with intricate tile mosaic everywhere and a rooftop terrace. I chatted a lot with one of the owners, Omar- he is so personable and interesting, so experienced in the industry, and knowledgeable about all of Marrakech and beyond. The location is very safe and accessible just inside the medina walls and an easy walk to the main square; rooms and beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot. I will absolutely stay here the next time I am in Marrakech!

One night hostel stay

got there, had to wait fro the guy to finish his dinner. he didn't even bother to check my reservation. when asked what time the breakfast was (included in my reservation) he said it was impossible. gave me a random room (actually an upgrade, having reserved a single room i received a double) and disappeared. the provided towels are like the bathrooms, in common, hanging on the toilet walls.. the 24hrs reception is another alleged service of the structure.... I left at 9.45am and there was still no one around to talk to or get things straight.....I understand it's a one star hostel and to be taken very naively... but from that to false advertising and fees charged for something that is not existing, is different... it's cheap and definitely not pretentious if you're on a budget...although, for what it offers, they overcharge you.
