This magical riad in this magical town is one of my absolute favorite memories from my time traveling throughout Morocco! Every room is uniquely charming and beautiful and the overall layout of the place is fascinating - we spent so much time just moving throughout it and exclaiming at its beauty! The hotel staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious - top to bottom, 10/10. 

Enjoy the view in and out, relax, and try to pick the top floor (despite the stairs).
Don't miss breakfast at the balcony.
And then - take a long walk in this beutiful vilage, with its blue color, and the fountain, and the people.

I booked it in Tangier one day before our arrival, as I found that it was a good evaluation compared to the price. We arrived in the afternoon three hours from Tangier, after we settled down, my son and I; We began to open our eyes to a unique historical masterpiece, other than the beautiful reception from the workers of the house who helped us to withdraw our bags from the town square parking lot, and although our room was in the attic, it was quiet and beautiful, with its small window overlooking a part of the town, the house is close to the public square and its breakfast is delicious If you are not a romantic, dreamer, passionate about meditation, choose another place

We stayed at this riad  and it was an unique experience.  The staff were helpful & friendly and it is like walking with one foot in the past and one foot in the present.  If you expect 5 star service, well go somewhere else, but if you want the opportunity to experience Morocco, the culture , food and language then try it and you will not be disappointed.  We captured the call to prayers at 5:00 am it was unforgettable.

Casa Hassan is really a charming place. Originally, it was three houses together. About fifteen years ago, the new owner who bought all three, cut out some walls and built rooms to make this fine place to stay.

All the rooms are different: sizes, design, color schemes, decor, furniture, but all are interesting and charming. I stayed there for three nights with my Overseas Adventure Travel (OAT) group, and everyone liked the place so much. It has an excellent location with plenty of restaurants nearby and shopping as well.

My single room, which was at rooftop level, had two twin beds pushed together to make a double bed, an attractive sofa, a table and two upholstered chairs, and a small closet with extra duvets and pillows (which I didn’t use or need).

The bathroom had plenty of hot water (most of the time), plus colorful and practical shower with an arched Moroccan design.

I was able to access the free Wi-Fi in my room most of the time. The included breakfast was very adequate, tasty and varied: scrambled eggs, toast, different breads, donuts, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea. 

The entire staff of this guesthouse, although not professionally trained in hotel management, was absolutely wonderful in every way.

I highly recommend this property, and I’m glad to have stayed there for three nights.

Moroccan Experience

A very charming guesthouse!

Beautiful, picturesque, don't miss

After researching many riads in Chefchaouen we were so disappointed in our stay.  They had lost our reservation and first showed us a small dark room and then offered us another room which was a bit larger but overlooked an alley and trash.  The staff are very content talking among themselves but never offer information or assistance unless one asks for it.  It is a great location a few steps from the main square and in the middle of the medina.  The breakfast as uninspired, a two day stay and the smae thing each day and each morning I had to ask for tea (very strange in Morocco).  The room cleaning consisted of making the bed only, trash was not emptied, counters wiped, just a neglected feel about it.  Indifferent staff aside our largest complaint was our take away of scored of bug bites from the room, either a spider or other flying biter.
