I went with my family 5 days to Zacatlán. I booked that hotel because I did a last hour reservation and was one of the few available, but what a nice surprise. I stayed at the hotel. The rooms are quite simple but very clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicous and very cheap. They even had an special menu for Spartan Race runners (Pasta in the previous Day dinner for Carbs charge and a light breakfast). You have hot water anytime that it's wonderful for the cold weather even more after the race. The best of all was the personalized attention directly from the owners.
