This was the worst experience I have had booking a client with this hotel.  THEY DID NOT PICK HIM UP AT THE AIRPORT, as they assured me they would when I requested it AND THEY CANCELED HIS RESERVATION when he arrived.  DO NOT book with this awful hotel.  They are a scam.

This place is a red flag

Great location, central apartment very convenient for any kind of movement but everything else is to be reviewed. As soon as we arrived there was no electricity. No one warned us of this failure they did not take care to change the room or accommodation but simply left us a sheet of paper of apology under the door, we had to ask us for candles/torches to light the apartment they did not even have the care to remedy towards us but simply continued to say that it was not their fault but the government's that the current is sometimes down in some quarters of the city. Finally the current, but the next day another problem: they stole the key of the entrance door. A couple called to present this big problem, they also solved the quality of the door, they could simply solve the real problem and so they decided not to change it, so they decided not to spend the time in this apartment.

I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is very nice, clean. We had even a washing machine in our room, just perfect. The receptionist Saffron was so lovely to talk to, helpful and always smiling :) We will come back for sure. Thank you for your hospitality.

Located in a convenient location in Valletta, in a side street that takes you to 50 metres in the middle of the evening rush, the door service is provided only during the morning, but the entrance system is more than comfortable and discreet. Since it is an ancient palace the rooms are narrow and long and suitable for a couple, surely the high floors offer a spectacular view of the city. The kitchen offers everything you need: coffee, tea...

Comfortable accommodation

Centrally located for exploring in Valletta, key pad entry to front door. Pretty limestone courtyard, steps or lift up to rooms/ suites
I had a 1 bedroom apartment initially, comfortable and all you would need. Fridge, oven, hob, washing machine 
Bedroom with en suite. Clean and comfortable bed. Storage unit in bedroom
Scarily high in the building with small walkway to apartment looking down into the open courtyard
The drains were super smelly, after 3 nights l asked to move as the en suite was stinking. Each day work was apparently done on the drains but it didn't clear the problem
I moved to a studio which was suitable. The drains still smelt (but not as bad) as the bathroom was away from the living & bedroom area it was better, although no ventilation in bathroom other than fan
Helpful staff, the microwave didnt work so was quickly swapped
Steps and old shutters in public area needed tidying away
I had seen there was a small pool so l took the lift up (scary again) the pool had a small amount of very green algae/ water and rubbish floating in it which was a disappointment

Now Tritoni harbour suites

At least in theory it should be a residential complex consisting of suites, each with its own name, but in reality they are nothing more than very simple apartments, but with a higher price than average. The building is old and poorly equipped: for example, even if there is an elevator, there are in any case steps to do without being able to use it. For cleaning, there are cleaning women who enter to clean, but there is no sign with written indications such as please do not disturb or please make-up my room, so that it is also possible to find yourself in unknown rooms, which are well suited to the apartment has been unlocked.

It's not a suite!

The host treated me very unfairly.  I had booked a studio for a week (unfortunately without cancellation) and was looking forward to my annual vacation.  Two days before my departure to Malta, the Minister of Health ban the entry of tourists without a vaccine !!!  This canceled all my plans!  The host of the hotel does not showed understanding and keeped all money for the reservation, although it is not my fault that I can not enter the country.  He do not even agreed to change the dates of stay.  He offered me to pay him another extra 200 euros fee if I want to change the booking details.  The studio is modest and does not offer extras, but it is to be the most expensive I have been to.  I experienced the great disappointment of the hospitality and fairness to the tourists in Malta!

I do not recommend!  Bad attitude!

The apartment is centrally located in Valletta.However, it is far from any essential services (pharmacies, supermarkets), you must necessarily have a car.The spaces are very small and not particularly well maintained in the cleaning.The kitchen is lined with basic accessories (pot and pan).The bathroom window can be opened directly from the hall.

Good position, everything else to see through.

We stayed downstairs in August 2020. The apartment is very well situated, two steps from a bus stop (barraka below), 7 min from other places (bus station, fountain tritons, etc.), places to visit and shops. Marita who hosted us was very friendly. On the property, everything needed to have a good stay: equipped kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, 2 air conditioners (1 living room and 1 bathroom). Only the bathroom and toilets are in the room. And the mattress of the 5th is hyper soft 😱 But fortunately we were only there to sleep because everything is very dark, the windows over the walls.

We had booked at this property for a 3-night stay in March and had prepaid the full amount because we were not given any other option at the time of booking. Because of the recent travel restrictions and quarantines associated to the Covid-19 we were not able to travel. We contacted the property early enough to request a refund. They did not respond to our emails, phone calls or messages. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional. Several other properties in Malta and around the world refunded their clients without any hesitation. 
Needless to say that we will never book again at this property nor at any other property own by the Valletta merisi suites owner.
