Rahaa Resort

We have just returned from a small island of paradise,with about 50 rooms by the sea and another 50 by the lagoon, both equally stunning. It’s a long journey, 2 big planes, 1 small plane and a speedboat but worth the trip. On arrival we were meant by the team, who made sure we had the most wonderful holiday. The food is fabulous, everything is freshly home made, you will be amazed by the selection. At breakfast, fresh breads, fruits, hot dishes, porridge and a cooking station for eggs, fabulous omelettes. Lunches freshly created salads, hot dishes including freshly caught fish, and an array of desserts and ice cream. It’s probably the best ice cream you will taste, coconut, papaya, passion fruit, and strawberry. If you have room for a biscuit with your coffee, delicious coconut shortbread, oaties, red velvet cookies, and lots more. All the chefs are great, and are happy to chat with you about the food, even sharing recipes, if you want to create something at home. All the team waiting on in the restaurant and bar were really kind, always welcomed with a smile all very attentive. We had a couple of massages which were excellent, worth a treat. Everyday there is a boat trip to go snorkelling, which is great, but if you just want to paddle in the sea outside your room, you will still see lots of fish. There isn’t loads of entertainment, it’s a holiday to chill out, there is crab racing, karaoke, pool, and table tennis.
