Stayed here for 1 night during a business trip. Good location because in front of Hospital, and walking distance to some food stalls and petrol stations where you can get your basic needs. My room was a corner room on 2nd floor. Room and bathroom were spacious. The sink and flush were leaking so half of the bathroom floor was permanently wet. Hot shower is available. Basic 3-in-1 coffee and tea available, but there were 2 kettles placed outside the room door to be shared among the rooms on that floor. Cable TV was available, but I didnt have the chance to switch on the TV. Room was large enough to accommodate 2 more single beds (extra bed).
My room was facing the main road, and the traffic light junction is located right in front of the hotel. Very noisy with sound of ambulance, cars and motorbikes speeding at night. The whole floor was covered with tiles, so you can hear footsteps outside especially people wearing heels, things dropping on the floor, etc. 
If you are a light sleeper, better prepare your earplug to get a good night sleep.
No cafe and meals available in the hotel, but a good stall selling delicious roti canai, bread with lamb soup is just few mins walk away from the hotel (next to Caltex), opens from early morning for breakfast to late night. Apparently it is quite famous outlet is Dungun. The famous Nasi Dagang Pak Usop is also within walking distance from the hotel.

Not for holiday, but good for transit

It's a two storey shop lot hotel. Access to upper floors is by staircase only (no elevators). 

Room comes with air-con and hot water. TV channels consists of free Astro channels only. Rooms closer to the main road tend to be a bit noisy. Hotel is opposite Hospital Dungun, hence be prepared for sirens wailing throughout the night.

There are two restaurants close by - Nasi Kandar (breakfast - dinner) and kuey teow shop (opens night only).

Room is basic and sufficient for our one night stay. Cost came out to RM100 a night. Room on 2nd floor is cheaper than on the 1st floor.


Basic hotel

We booked a Deluxe room (1 queen bed). They offer Wi-fi, Astro, Air-conditioning, Hot shower, and free parking after 5pm. I do not fancy the cold tile floor in our room however. The Wi-fi signal was also weak. It does not reach the second floor, which where our room was. Only accessible once we get into the lobby. The Astro channel also have to be flicked thru one by one as there are no list provided in the room stating what channels are available. I was glad to see they have Warner Movies channel although I did not get the chance to watch any movie as we were not staying long. We had no problem with the hot shower and AC as they are in good condition. The bathroom have a funny smell to them. It must have come from the piping because I cannot find the source. The cord of the electric kettle is too short to reach the outlet which is placed at waist level on the wall. So we had to level them on the two mugs provided to get it plugged in. Ironing board and iron are provided in a separate room.

Good for price

I stayed here for one night only since I couldn't get a 2nd night stay at Hotel UiTM Dungun as it was full. At the very last minute somebody suggested this hotel. The only thing I like about this hotel is its is in the middle of the Dungun town. It is situated in front of the hospital, and there are restaurants and convenience shops nearby. There are parking lots in front of the hotel (paid parking lots in the morning) but it is always packed with cars. I thought the situation would improve at night but I was totally wrong! There were even more cars (they even double-parked their cars) at night, and I had to park quite a distance from the hotel. There is no lift at the hotel, so I had to drag my bag to the second floor. The room was very, very basic with no toiletries provided (except for one bottle of hand wash which looked questionable). The receptionist was helpful. The receptionist told me that the 1st floor rooms have problems with the water pressure, so the guests have to take a bath at certain times only, and there is no problem if you are staying on the 2nd floor. Well, while taking my bath in the morning, there was no water at certain time, but it came back immediately. No breakfast is provided, but you can find restaurants nearby. The room was quite spacious for a budget hotel, and it has Astro channels too (though not many). Frankly I won't be staying here if there's a vacancy at Hotel UiTM Dungun, but if you don't have any other choices, then maybe this is one of the options available. If you are a light sleeper, then do not stay here as it is situated at the side of the main road. It was very noisy even at night and early morning in the with cars and motorcycles.

If you have nowhere else to stay....

We called and reserved 5 rooms. Ended up they only give us 4 rooms. Staff is not friendly. The hotel got no lift, have to carry everything by staircase.
The room is quite empty. Wifi is only for 1st floor room.
