Wadi Dana Eco Camp

Rooms were very spacious wth stunning views overlooking the valley and perfect for seeing the beautiful sunset.
Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating, Would definitely recommend staying here. Food was typical Jordanian. Delicious!!

Great stay at Wadi Dana Eco-camp, staff was very friendly and arranged to keep our family (2 adults, 3 kids) together by upgrading us to a dedicated cabin with private bathroom. Waking up with the view on the wadi is just one of the best pictures you will get of Jordan. Comfort is ok, some improvements can be done in getting the shower not too hot or too cold and cleaning the room. Watch out for some guides from the village, they can be aggressive when forcing tourists to get to their "recommended"restaurant in Dana village.

What a magical place, this camp is fabulous, the persons who work there are so helpfull, nice people always at your service, from the driver to the persons who take care of the food and cleaning, also the persons whom we don't see who prépare nice food for the guest, they will give you good advise for hiking, visiting the area with guide or without, The tent is clean, hot with an extraordinary view for sunset and sunrise. I really advise this camp if you want an exotic expérience.

We stayed here for one night before doing the Wadi trek to Feynan. Had a great evening and the camp was really good. Food, staff, room all as good as you could hope for and lots of help and advice offered. Would definitely go back and stay again. Stunning views of sunrise/sunset too.

Perfect spot, really nice view and the hike was really good organized. We got a lunch bag and the driver was waiting for us at the end of the trail. As well the staff was really friendly and served delicious food for dinner.

This was the top of my holiday in Jordan. I think the photos speak for themselves. I would definitely recommend sleeping in a tent, which makes you appreciate the surrounding. Sanitary facilities are pretty good for such an isolated place (the drive  by jeep from/to the village is not for the the faint-at-heart, but there's no alternative).
Everybody on-site is there for hiking so that's the drill. I very much enjoyed the ease with which people started to mingle after dinner and the days after. Later in my trip I regularly re-encountered people I met here  + hooked up with them (no, I'm not a hippy :-)). 
Food & drinks: fantastic! And when I asked for an improvised lunch it was made for me in no time. Staff: super friendly. Views: unbeatable.
One of the best places I've been to. Ever.

We wanted a retreat far from the noise and pollution of Amman and we got exactly what we were looking for. A stunning view on the Dana valley with a sunset you will never forget. We were there end of February just before it officially opened so we had the place just for us. You will have the choice between tents or private rooms with toilet and showers. We opted for the rooms and the beds were extremely comfortable.
The diner was prepared by the wife of one of the owners. Delicious and home cooked.
An other highlight was the trek with Mohammed.
We highly recommend the Wadi Dana Eco camp.

Just amazing

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 days. Because we did a trail in between. The rooms were okay, no more than needed. I do have a allergy for dust and I normally don’t take my medication on vacation and I really struggled with it because it was not 100% dustfree. But that’s only annoying for people with the same issue. I couldn’t give it a 5 because the things you get is not worth your price because it’s so basic and 

4 because of the staff

Stunning view and hospitality 

We enjoyed our stay in Wadi Dana Eco Camp. The dinner was locally made and tasted great. It is a very nice place to come to rest, we enjoyed our evening with playing card games and went to bed early. When waking up we enjoyed the view (we arrived after sunset) and had breakfast. It is easy to meet other guests as the dinner and breakfast is at a set time. The duty manager was very friendly and helped us with choosing an activity for our second day. We did a short hike which lasted about 3-4 hours, then had lunch at the camp and checked out. Friendly staff, good food and a very quiet place. If you want to do a long hike I would recommend staying here for two nights, as well as when you are looking for a place to come to rest. Doing nothing, reading a book and enjoying the view is really the best thing you can do here.

Very nice, quiet place & good for hiking

The view is breathtaking from the tents.
The diner and lunch there are delicious, honestly thumbs up to the wife of the owner. She is a fairy.
The whole staff is very nice and welcoming.
If you want to go to Dana, this is the place.
Booking a guide for a first hike is mandatory, we recommand it because some paths are very tricky and the guides are very kind. So you get the opportunity to try a path you would not go through on your own and you get to meet the locals.

A great place to start your journey

It's definately not cheap, but the experience is amazing and the hosts really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. So it was definately worth it for us. The view right outside our tent was amazing. It's so quiet in the mountains and the night sky was full of stars. We did the feather canyon trail (shigrish-trail?) the next day, and was definately worth it. It was 60 JD, but we could split the costs with 2 other hikers, so it only costs 30 JD.
