Agriturismo Corte Zuccone

The photos don't do this B&B justice, it is a quaint little B&B decorated beautifully. We were given a warm welcome by the owner Paola and given lots of advice where to eat and shop within the village. Unfortunately the air conditioning broke the week before we arrived and it was the hottest week in August, we were given fans to relive the heat but nothing helped. The breakfast was delicious, we had fresh fruit, yoghurts, cake etc, if we wanted anything savoury we just had to ask and it would have been cooked fresh for us also we were allowed to use the breakfast room to eat any food we had delivered for dinner. The pool was clean and a welcome relief from the hot Italian sun. The B&B is within walking distance to the town center. The towels were only changed every 3 days and my bedsheets were not changed for the whole week we were there which was gross due to the amount of sweating I was doing every night in the heat!! I had to ask 3 times for the remote for the TV, after 3 days they turned up with a decoder on the TV. If I needed anything I had to write a note and leave it in reception or tell Paola or her mum. Another downfall was that I had to pay cash for my stay, 700euros, which I was not told about before my arrival therefore I had to go into town everyday to withdraw money to pay for my stay which was so inconvenient. Apart from no AC, paying in Cash and no clean towels and sheets this B&B is nice...would work well under proper management.
