36 reviewsAfter a life long desire to visit Venice, my boyfriend booked a trip in February 09 during the venice carnival. I found Ca' Satriano online and called and spoke to Alberto to find out if there would be any availability during the carnival. As there are only 3 rooms I was delighted to find one available for the dates required and very reasonably priced. Alberto gave me much information before we arrived on which water ferries to take and how to find the B+B. After finding Ca' Satriano very easily we were welcomed in and shown our very nice room which was clean and spacious and certainly perfect for our 3 night stay as it was very close to St Marks Square. We were able to use the kitchen for drinks at any time and as there are only 3 rooms it was always very quite and relaxing. After a continental breakfast was served by very friendly and helpful staff we were set up to explore Venice. Alberto was so friendly and very helpful and spent time suggesting where to visit, when to visit and where to eat. As we arrived during carnival my expectations of Venice were exceeded and I could not recommend highly enough visiting during this time and definately staying at Ca' Satriano. I would definately stay here again and cannot recommended it highly enough. My boyfriend became my fiance on this trip as he proposed to me, which made this stay in Venice the most memorable romantic trip I could have ever dreamed of.
