37 reviewsFrom the outset we have no hesitation in recommending this very pleasant Hotel. It is situated on a hillside near to the Eppan village of St. Michael (some 15 minutes walk away) and Eppan, or Appiano as it is also known is a set of villages some 8 km south of the town of Bolzano. The Hotel, set in secluded grounds, has excellent views across Eppan to the Dolomite Mountains. A realively new Hotel, I found the rooms spacious with comfortable beds and well furnished, and a modern flat Screen TV (100+ channels). The Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. It should be realised that although situated in Italy, most of the local Population speak German as their first or second language. However, enough of the Hotel staff spoke sufficent English as well! The breakfast buffet was good and well stocked. The evening meals were a varied 5 course dinner, again very good Food, and the waitress Service was prompt. The Hotel has both an indoor and outdoor Swimming pools, Sauna, massage facilities, but as I did not use them, we cannot comment. Overall, we had a good week's stay at this Hotel, the Food was good, the rooms were comfortable, and the Service also very good, and we recommend this Hotel to you!!
