38 reviewsWe stayed in August as a last minute trip, the room was very nice and clean and modern. Was cleaned everyday and fresh towels. The area where it is isn’t as great full of rubbish on the streets and homeless people. I wouldn’t want to be walking back to the room on my own at night that’s for sure! Didn’t feel very safe but the apartment itself has 3 doors to the room with a lock on each so felt very safe! Train station is a 10 min walk away and the busses are just the other side of the train station where you can get on easily and go to the Vatican City etc. There are many restaurants around and it’s possible to walk to the monuments and other restaurants further away from the apartment. We ended up walking 15 miles a day but it is also possible to get public transport if it’s too far to walk. All in all we had a very good 5 days city break and would return to Rome.
