Stayed over in Milan after visiting the Alps (fantastic train journey from Zurich to Milan!!) Milan feels very much like a working city and has a very different feel to other European cities that we have visited in Italy. The Desuite is located in a residential neighbourhood area of Milan. The reception desk is not manned at all times but the staff were lovely and helpful. The room is large has a two ringed cooker and microwave. We had been traveling for 8 days so decided to cook a meal. There are two ‘Simply’ supermarkets within easy walking distance. We found everything we needed to cook a home made meal (kitchenette very adequate) The hotel was very clean, plenty of towels, shower great. You can easily alter the Smart tv to many languages along with being able to stream media Netflix etc All in all a great stay
