62 reviewsThis resort with its little red houses under huge Palm trees and the friendly staff are a real treasure. Hidden in an exotic park and very close to the beach you can enjoy peaceful holidays on the north coast of Sicily. San Giorgio is a nice little fishing village and an ideal base for day trips to the Aeolian Islands and Mount Etna. We've enjoyed beautiful fall days with our 40 students from Germany (Grade 12) and will definitely come back for another and hopefully many more field trips. Mary is the manager of the resort and was unbelievable helpful and heartwarming friendly. Good as gold! She was available for us 24/7 and did much more as one would expect which included translating at the doctor's, nightly rides to the pharmacy and organizing our trips to the volcanoes. Theodore, the owner of the restaurant "La Pineta" and his team reacted on our individual requests which is also more than you would expect while traveling in a group of 42! We can't be more thankful and will definitely return to this fantastic place!
