The Tannhof offers both rooms and holiday apartments, and we stayed in an apartment in winter. The apartment building is not only new, spacious and comfortable, it has also been built to the high "Klimahaus" (climate house) standard, including excellent insulation and efficient automatic ventilation. In mid-winter, that's pure luxury, and I would expect to be the same in the typically hot summers in this area. The flat also had excellent views over vineyards, forests and mountains, expecially from the balcony. It was also fully furbished with modern appliances like an induction cooker. Add to this the extremely friendly staff, and you can't wish for more. And I even forgot to mention the location between vineyards and forest, inviting to easy and beautiful walks.
