I can’t write this review for myself. I can write it for my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters. They stayed three nights at Bleach aFarmhouse and had a grand time. Peggy and Pat went to dinner with the family at Keane’s of Curraheen and had a lovely evening. Peggy and Pat are two of the most charming people in County Kerry. Four generations of our family have now enjoyed the O’Sheas hospitality. Well done to the O’Sheas and Bleach Farmhouse.

Always Great

Lovely bed and breakfast with wonderful Irish hospitality. Peggy O’Shea couldn’t be any more wonderful. Excellent breakfast. Great stop before making the trip around the Dingle peninsula!  The rooms are quiet and the common lounge area made us feel so at home with television, magazines, and a cup of tea!

Quaint Farmhouse, Delightful Stay!

Our stay at this B&B was good. Our hostess, Peggy, was pleasant and very helpful when we asked about local attractions & restaurants. Our room was clean and nice, and perfect for the one night. Breakfast was delicious! Would stay there again!! 

Very Nice B&B 

This place is about 3 miles from Tralee, we booked it to have a jump start on the Dingle Way by walking the first 3 miles from Tralee and then continuing on. The time saved was about 50 minutes. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. However, the rooms were small and next to the highway, so we did not sleep very well.

Helpful Nice People, Basic Accomodations

B&B located just outside Tralee in Blennerville (small town centre, which except for the mill does not offer much). We were immediately greeted by the kind owner who offered us tea and welcome cakes, chatting more and less and then offered us tips on the areas to visit and on the restaurant for dinner. The room is spacious and clean, although not with new furniture. The whole structure is an old farmhouse.

Warm welcome

Wonderfully comfortable place to begin our 111-mile trek around the Dingle Peninsula. Peggy was a lovely and warm host. Can't beat the breakfast! And the lunch she packed us kept us strong on the walk to Camp.

First night on the Dingle Way

We arrived in the afternoon and were welcomed with a pot of tea and cakes ! Peggy is a brilliant hostess, she has a store of local knowledge and is willing to share it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and good.

Traditional B & B

Although located near a road, the place is very quiet. The room was very spacious and well equipped. We were greeted in the afternoon with a coffee and cakes in the lovely garden by the charming Mrs. Peggy, who immediately made us feel comfortable. We thank her for her good advice on visiting the area, her availability, her humor, and her copious and excellent breakfast.

Three nights in Blennerville

A 200 year old farm house that has been nicely renovated with large rooms. A gracious host with a wealth of information provides you with a welcome tea and treats. Clean and bright rooms and if you are getting weary of Irish breakfasts you are given options. Like the pancakes adorned with fresh fruit picked from the fields nearby. The Irish breakfast is one of the best!! Books in the sitting room outline the history of the area and the house. A great location with easy access to the town. 

Great location even better hosts

Unfortunately, at first we didn't feel welcome. We were at the last stage on Dingle Way and booked this accommodation. The hostess was surprised that we only stayed one night, as we had booked before. Then she told us that she wouldn't do it again in the future, as many hikers wouldn't come without saying no. It's probably annoying, but we did come... It was a rough start, but after a few moments she invited us to the living room for tea and fresh pastries and then she spoke very kindly to us. The rooms were also unfortunately not very comfortable, everything was a little clumsy, a little old and the shower had zero water.
