Anchor House Bed & Breakfast

My parents and stayed at Anchor House for one night in February to break up our journey to Cork. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
We really enjoyed the comfort, wamth and hospitality after a long day and the delayed ferry journey.
Irish breakfast and homemade bread was delicious.
Maura is a lovely lady and a kind and thoughtful host.
We are looking forward to our next stay.

The best B&B in Rosslare,  less than a mile from the ferry,  very easy to get to,  all the bedrooms are are really nice and clean,  unfortunately with the ferry leaving so early,  we didn't have time to stay for breakfast,  but Maura insisted that we take a packed one instead,  which we ate on the way,  very nice,  many thanks Maura,  definitely look forward to seeing you again.  Ger and Geraldine. 

This was our 2nd stay with Maura and once again she was the perfect host.. We were welcomed with tea, coffee, drinks for the kids and a plate of cake and biscuits. We had a very spacious bedroom with en suite, a TV with saoirview channels, really comfy beds, very quiet area at night allowing for a good sleep and she's a stones throw from a great pub and restaurant, the Kilrane Inn.. Maura is a great cook and served up a delicious cooked breakfast and offers a variety of cereals, fresh fruits, orange juice... She has great knowledge of the beautiful county she lives in and we look forward to seeing her again next summer

Very helpful and cheerful landlady. Greeted us with tea, biscuits and cake on arrival. Very informative of local places to visit and eat. Pub and restaurant within easy walking distance. ATM, petrol and supermarkets local. Ideal for ferry. Early breakfast if required. Nice area. Recommend Kilrane Inn for food. Fabulous. Enjoyed the b&b would certainly recommend. Quiet and free parking at front of property.

Glad we booked this for after our ferry crossing as we had a near 6 hour delay. Great place for a stopover, easy to find, hostess stayed up to offer us tea, cakes and chat. Comfortable accommodation, great breakfast, no problem catering to vegetarians.

We were passed on to this place after an original booking with bookings.com took our payment for another place but luckily we rang to ask something and was told the room wasn’t actually available. Aedan then found anchor house for us and maura couldn’t have been more welcoming. Fab location, 2 mins from ferry port. Our last night in Ireland 🇮🇪 was spent in a very pleasant b&b. Many thanks Maura.

Ferry stopover

We stayed here recently after getting off the ferry. It is close to the terminal so very handy. The room was comfortable but a bit shabby, it could do with a new coat of paint, same for the bathroom. The dining room was lovely and cosy and the breakfast was fabulous.
