Beautiful Country Cottage Sleeps 3

We stayed for 2 nights at this lovely B&B and it is highly recommended if staying in or near Louisburgh.  It is very close to the ferry to Clare Island which is well worth the visit and the views of Clew Bay, the wild Atlantic Coast of County Mayo and the stunning countryside are unparalleled.   There are several Megalithic Sites nearby and the Grainuille Heritage Center in Louisbugh is a must see.

Comfortable room, tasty breakfast and very very helpful owner! We came late and got hot tea and a scone - it made all the difference. Owner’s lovely granddaughter offered our daughter a toy to play with :D Thanks for the stay.

Having booked in very last minute, Mary went above and beyond to make sure my partner and I were comfortable and well accommodated. We arrived soaked on our bikes and we were welcomed into open arms and homemade tea and scones! 

As vegetarians Mary was also very accommodating with a generous breakfast. 

We managed to dry off all our gear and our stay at The Three Arches set us up very well for the remainder of our trip.

Mary's garden and views from the house are a feast for the eyes!

Have just left this beautiful, friendly, upmarket B&B. We were made to feel totally at home. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room and a great breakfast. Nothing too much trouble for Mary, an absolute gem, with a great sense of humour. Hope to see you again soon.

Irish hospitality in all its glory! We arrived late in the evening, around 11 pm and Mary greeted us with tea and buns and biscuits to feeb an army! Nothing was any trouble, the rooms wew were so comfortable and clean with amazing views! Breakfast had an abundance of everything, and once again both Mary and Pat had no problems supplying anything you needed. We were running a half marathon nearby, and they even gave us the room to use for a shower before we drove home to kildare even though we had checked out! Proper Irish family values which runs throughout the B&B giving it a true feeling of serenity. We'll worth a stay!

Spacious, modern rooms with ensuite bathrooms, friendly, attentive hosts, homemade food with hearty Irish breakfasts and the most romantic view in Ireland. As B&Bs go, you cannot get better than this. Mary and Pat go out of your way to ensure you have the most comfortable stay and are generous with their time and recommendations.  The area Askelane is the best kept secret in the West - a gorgeous mountain overlooking a majestic valley with Clare Island and the wild Atlantic in the background.

Mary and Pat provided such a warm, homely experience at the bnb. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed them. We had our own ensuite bathroom and plenty of space for luggage etc. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were happy to advise us on where to go and what to do if needed. If you want the true Irish experience this is the place to go! We really enjoyed being out in wild Ireland away from the noise but close to the beaches, mountains, islands and towns of West Mayo.

I have stayed with Mary & Pat a few times and always look forward when heading down west to stay with them. The B&B is located about 2 miles outside Louisburgh with a stunning view looking south over to the Mountains.The rooms are spotless and the beds are very comfy. It's a great base to explore the surrounding area with spectacular beaches within 10 mins drive. Croagh Patrick is about 20 mins away, and the ferry to Clare/Inisturk Islands only about 5 mins.My personal favourite is the drive to Doolough (15 Mins away) and the sky road. it's one of the most stunning locations in Ireland, without the masses of tourists that Kerry would have.It's wild,rugged,beautiful and unspoilt. Now to the hosts... Mary & Pat are two of the nicest people I have ever met, their hospitality is really genuine and they really couldn't  be more helpful, where either giving advice about the local area or any request I had. The breakfast is really good and I love Mary's homemade brown bread and Jam. I have stayed n a few B&Bs around the area over the years and they were good. The difference is the 3 Arches is not good it's Great.......

My cousin & I had the pleasure of staying with Mary & Pat at The Three Arches Louisburgh for two nights in November. The minute we arrived Mary had the tea ready & the fire lit, our rooms were lovely, clean, warm & comfortable with tea & coffee available 24hrs. The choice & quality of breakfast was great & set us up for our day touring! We would definitely return & have recommended Mary & The Three Arches far & wide since our stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Three Arches in early November and everything was simply perfect! 

I was greeted by smiling faces and a warm fire. My accommodations were superb - a comfortable, warm bed, fresh towels, plenty of hot water, and wifi. 

I spent my time exploring the coast. The Three Arches was the ideal central location for roadtrips around Mayo and into Galway. I was able to explore Achill, Westport, Leenane, Cliftden, and more! Destinations included The Shrine of Knock, Matt Malloy's Pub, Kylemore Abbey, and the Sky Drive. I can't wait to return in the summer so I can explore Clare Island, Croagh Patrick, and all of the beaches - especially Carrowmore for it is a short walk down the hill. 

Pat and Mary were terrific hosts. I will miss the tea, Mary's scones, and their company. They took such great care of me! I cannot recommend The Three Arches enough and I will be back!
