My mother and I stayed here on our 2 week trip to Ireland from the U.S. and it was by far the best place we stayed!  Lovely b & b, decadent breakfast, wonderful accommodations!  Much more character than a hotel and more reasonable, as well.

Stayed at this B&B for 2 days fishing . This B&B is part of the Lake hotel next to it. Brilliant B&B and Hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Everything is very central with shops , pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was great with a good menu and the freshly squeezed orange juice was great. Nightlife in Oughterard is brilliant and plenty of traditional music around. A mecca for anglers and golfers alike. Can't wait to go back and definitely recommended.

Thank you for the beautiful room, the interesting conversations, the delightful kitchen, best breakfast ever. We stayed at the Ante Room for two nights and had a wonderful time. The B&B is a family business with a lot of experience. All ingredients for the breakfast were of extremely high quality. The bread made in house and the most delicious cake I ever had. The sitting area is very nice with a library of books to go through. Highly recommended.

I didn't manage to get a room in Galway once again and found this B&B as the cheapest option 30 mins away.
I was quite surprise to find out that it was better than a lot of 3 star hotels I've stayed in before.
The bed was big and comfy, great bathroom, strong Internet (room 5) and excellent breakfast that was served in the hotel next door.
It is managed by the Connemara Lake hotel. This is great since you can get a proper invoice and pay by credit card. The restaurant had even oysters and excellent food.
Parking is off street but the town is not that busy so it is ok.
The room had no TV, hairdryer or tea and coffee facilities, but this wasn't a problem for me, could be a great deal for somebody else.
I'm sure you could get the hairdryer in the hotel, they were very helpful for everything else.
In the area don't miss the wall down to the amazing lake or the castle of the O' flahertys clan well hidden of the bit and truck.

This was a lovely guesthouse/B&B. Lovely decorated rooms... no TV..but one downstairs in a lovely room or Tea/coffee facilities lovely bathroom... On side of street so a little noisy... The breakfast was just one of the best i have had anywhere. Fresh fruit, fresh baked bread, breakfast menu... in a lovely bright modern breakfast room... others could learn from this..
