The Morning Mist

I Visited "The Morning Mist" With my Family (Wife and Kid) for the Dussera Vacations. The journey from Bangalore was tiring but we were refreshed once reaching this beautiful place. The location is unmatched, very accessible from the Highway below yet very quaint and peaceful. The location itself can keep you refreshed but our trip was enhanced by the visit to Banasura Dam and Muneeswaran Kunnu Viewpoint. Each of these places are breathtaking places one can visit, these places were recommended by "The Morning Mist" staff. I would truly recommend this as a great place to stay and visit nearby attractions around Wayanad. The staff is very helpful in suggesting the places to visit and the time required to travel etc. Please keep in mind since this is a small facility they do not cook food on site but they take orders and provide room service of good Kerala Style food. It may not be suitable for picky eaters but you would relish the food if you enjoy trying new cuisines. The Sunrise experience is truly beautiful and one can have a little trek on the hill in midst of coffee and Tea plantations. Rooms I stayed in Dew Drops (top floor) which was an AC double bed room with a picturesque balcony. There is a similar room in ground floor. For a bigger Family there is 2 bedroom villa. On top of the hill there are 02 dormitories for different group size.
