This place is excellent, the hotel rooms are very spacious with excellent view of the jungle. I stay here for 1 day along with my family. Also tried their Kerala Massage(1 hour session), it was my first time experience and loved it. The hotel is very near to the main market which makes it good for shopping as well. Nice and helpful staff with good quality food.

Hello all,i stayed in rangerwood hotel on the occasion of Christmas..it is just awesome..all amenities are there as mentioned.The ambience of the hotel is awesome with wooden structure.You can see the Periyar tiger reserve century from the balcony view..it was just great.It is just at 5mins drive distance from here.The local market is also at 5mins walkable distance.They do have clean swimming pool over here.Also,there is multicuisine restaurant (with yummy food) which adds cherry on to the top of all these amenities.The most important thing is the staff over here is too good.They are always ready to help with smile and politeness. I specially wants to thanks Mr. Sateesh Damodar, director of this hotel who has helped me and my family to get the breakfast even when the timing was over that too with happy face.Thanks alot Sateesh.I will highly recommend this hotel to stay who wants to enjoy the trip to the fullest without any issues.

Amazing experience at the hotel.Spacious rooms, artistic interiors, stress relieving spa and massage therapy, good service and delicious breakfast in the lap of nature with family. View from the balcony was breathtaking

Wonderful location, great atmosphere really pleasant and clean rooms. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We enjoyed staying here and I recommend this as it is one of the best near Thekkady.

My cycling group stayed her for two nights, a very welcome rest after some challenging cycling.  A really comfortable place to stay, the rooms very spacious and the service and food was great.  The most memorable feature are the balconies looking over the river, wetland and forest, seeing a range of birds, beautiful sunset glow - connecting with nature.  Would stay here again

If you like to stay in a cool and calm place close to nature then this is one of the best hotel. Located near to the wild life sanctuary. You will get a very nice view of the jungle form the room. We enjoyed the our stay here. Rooms are very clean and neat. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Would like to stay here again.

When i was planning for a weekend stay in the jungle i got to know about this place. one of the best place to stay with family, the people over there welcomes with a pleasant smile and the customer service was excellent. The main thing is that our room had a view towards the jungle and was able to see some animals. Highly recommended

I have booked tree house and on my way to them a day before they said Jungle administration disconnected water and electricity in tree house due to some issue. They provided me another room. But later on I found out that they were getting more money from some NRI guest and hence they said lame excuse. Do not TRUST them.

Do not trust on your booking for Tree house

Rooms are enormous and furnished in an eclectic style. the balconies overlook a wetland area and we saw bison and wild pigs. Sadly the hotel was quiet and the dining room deserted which meant we went elsewhere to eat the second day, The hotel is located on the main street with shops and restaurants nearby

Pleasant views

I have recently stayed in the hotel for a night. Get a family suite booked with 50% discount being off season. However to my surprise the owner has refused to switch on the AC without addn payment of Rs 500/- due to unaffordable being off season discount given. The washrooms were dirty with no hot water connections. There was no toiletries provided which is also not ethical after booking a family room. The washroom curtains were dirty and stinking. The bed linens were also stinky and I have to almost fight for everything. The restaurant was not functional making it more difficult to stay. My suggestion is to be cautious before planning your stay in the resort and bargain for everything literally everything. It was a pathetic and horrible experience and will never forget in my life.
