Richmond Bed and Breakfast - Coonoor

The house is a century-old colonial bungalow with high ceilings, surrounded by a beautiful garden . The rooms are spacious with large windows. The bathrooms are simple but roomy and clean. It is pleasant to eat in the original dining room and the home-cooked food is excellent. The climate in the area is quite cool and we needed our woolen clothes.

We were on a school re- union and took the entire homestay of 4 rooms. The homestay is less than a km from SIMS park and High field tea factory. 
Exclusive and personalized service with both vegetarian and non vegetarian food on order. Very tasty and healthy cooking
All meals were superb especially breakfast which was included in the room rent. 
Very good service by Ravi and his wife (who cooked)
Both of them served with a smile and never said No to any of our requests 

once u enter big black gate, you could say you are literally disconnected from town inspite of being just a walk away from SIMS park. Richmond has a nice big Garden and the spacious British Bungalow with 4 rooms with all the amenities  required for a comfortable stay including WIFI. Ravi and his family go out of their way to make us feel at home. The food is cooked at order and is delicious.Even though we went there during end of March which is summer, we were lucky to catch the most pleasant weather, infact was quite chilly in the nights & the campfire was a delight. Would definitely recommend for couples and families..

A quiet retreat.

Quiet and Serene homestay with superb service and food

Quiet Getaway...

The house is a good decent place to stay, the caretaker has been very welcoming and attending to our requests whenever possible. The property is nice and located in a quiet serene.

The place has a good size garden, where children can play. it's a walking distance to Bedford  (about one km)

This is a small home stay with 4 rooms close to Sims Park, a popular landmark in Coonoor. Coonoor is a small town with not much to do..except relax.. ;)
If you occupy all rooms it will give you all privacy and fund in your own colonial bungalow. Breakfast is included and is good and feels homemade.
Fireplace is lit or bonfire is put at a cost.
5 mins walk, is the Sims Park and a couple of Food joints with North/ south Indian cuisine..
Book in advance during summer as most hotels are occupied and avoid the weekends as the town as well as ooty gets very crowded.
