Hotel Amrit Manthan

People often miss visiting Chittorgarh even though it's just 2 hrs away from Udaipur. An ideal place to stay in Chittorgarh is Hotel Amrit Manthan. Situated next to a petrol pump, perfect for people like me who use a self drive car. We thoroughly loved our stay at Amrit Manthan. The room size was 3 times the size of Taj Lake Palace and washroom was fitted with all modern Jaquar fittings. Room was clean and staff was very responsive. Upon check-in, we were given a list of must-visit places in Chittorgarh & this became our plan for next 2 days. On my request, the hotel staff also arranged a government certified guide, one of the best guide I ever met. The food at the hotel's restaurant is yummy. Do try 'Nargisi Kofta', it's served with 3 different gravies...this dish is unique to Amrit Manthan, you won't find it anywhere else. Their chef has worked with several big hotel chains before joining Amrit Manthan 7 years back. This truly reflects in the restaurant's preparations. We were travelling with 2 small kids, all our special food needs like baby khichdi & spice less aloo paratha were well accommodated by the in-room dining team. I requested for an extra bed for my daughter, the staff prepared the bed with a cosy pink coloured princess themed blanket. My daughter loved it.
