Global Residency Bed & Breakfast

The Global Residency Bed & Breakfast is located two streets back from the main road, so it is not noisy. There is a Metro Station about 300 yards from the hotel. At the end of the street is a popular supermarket so there are supplies readily available. There is a juice bar and an ice-cream parlour there as well. There is a bank with ATM there also. There is an auto-rickshaw stand there also, so cheap transport is only 30 meters away from your residence. The hotel itself is behind high secure walls with a strong steel gate, so it is secure. There is no noise at night time. There is a spacious verandah, also a complimentary India Times daily newspaper available. I had the smallest room they had for a cost of AUD $38 a night. There is a complimentary simple breakfast consisting of omelette, toast and coffee. My room had two windows, air-con, fan, cable tv, wardrobe, small desk, double bed, and attached toilet and shower. The room opens on to a shared common area. There are also double connected rooms available. All the rooms are upstairs on the first / top floor. The ground floor has one or two rooms, managers office, a lobby, and breakfast area. Washing services are available. The staff have good English language skills and are very helpful. The hotel is old world spacious with high ceilings throughout. I would definitely stay here again. The only down-side at all is that there was talk of the hotel closing or at least changing hands. If this has occurred, I do not know. For a Budget Option, this establishment is high quality, high value and I highly recommend it.
