I love this place. Perfectly rustic rooms with all the basics you need. A chorus of birds,humans and other mammals at sunrise. Beautiful family and staff. Relaxed and informal, anything goes. Feel safe as it's clear that anyone associated with this place know exactly what's going on at all time and there's no shortage of friendly conversation and banter with the D'Costa crew as you pass going about your daily business.  I never want to leave. Take me home .

We just came back from a 2 week vacation.
All expectations were met.
Very nice personnel.
The D'Costa restaurant was just great.
They have a very wide spectrum of indian and non-indian food.
The service is good and the staff is super nice.

Me and my wife stayed here at dcosta cottages which is right near the canacona market near palolem beach resort. The huts we stayed are just lovely and cute you can hear the waves from your hut.

The staff is really helpful.The owner Raju and theresa are very helpful people.The rooms are neat and have a private sit out. The only flaw is there is no hot water facility but it doesn't matter as you can get it on request.Also there are no problems of musquitoes or any insects at the cottages.

This place is budget friendly.I would love to stay here again next time I visit Palolem.

Cheap huts with nice little front balconies. We loved the restaurant especially! Well priced and ridiculously good food - everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Staff were awesome here too. Thank you D'Costa!

Beach huts with very basic facilities. They are made from wood and are a little shaky. They offer air conditioning and hot water. Not to expect anything more. It's run by a dcosta family which stays just behind these wooden structures. The proximity from the beach is biggest plus point. Adjoining restaurant serves excellent and unique food. The vibes are positive and place is extremely safe and pleasant. Mostly occupied by the foreigners who stay for longer periods. Owner allow family and couples only. A sure recommendation as pocket friendly option.

Loved D'Costas!

Good location, cheap and very basic, great restaurant

The place is nice ; the restaurant down is good and the staff of the restaurant is great ... just disappointing by the women who works there ; she was asking me many times to stay longer and she was looking after me for pay my room !! She asked me to pay her before to give me a towel I was asking for ! I have no problem to pay but please do your job before ask the money ... specially when I have already pay the first night ; no need to put pression on your customers.. that’s why I prefers to leave this place ... if not the bungalow was with ac and hot shower but I think too much expensive 

Money money money 

Came here on several occasions for breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of the better places on the beach with delicious curries and attentive service. They seem to be the only place that offers brown rice as well which we were very grateful for. I would make special mention to the guilty pleasure smoothie which was a meal in a glass and delicious! Lots of great healthy choices on the menu and a good variety. Downsides were the dogs fighting each other and barking a lot more so than usual slong the beach. We also came here on our last night but they really let us down with the food and service which we were gutted about. Still worth checking out though. 

One of the better restaurants

This one is a serious review about this place. Please please read it till the end. I stayed here just for one night. Initially i liked the place, it is clean, beautiful and exactly on the beach but still a bit on sn expensive side. 
So guys, this was about the place, But m I was really very disappointed with the staff. I can't comment about the other staff members, but there's this one guy named lalit. He is a complete psycho person. If you're on a girls trip or a solo female traveller, please avoid booking this place. This guy lalit will always try to find an excuse to come and talk to you for no reason and irk you. Initially I thought he was being friendly but later he started texting me unnecessarily and talking rubbish. I was on a trip with my younger sister along with me, so I was very very scared after reading his messages, and since it was the last stay of our trip, we had to stay there as we couldn't find any place elsewhere. So basically this guy is completely  unprofessional,  pervert and hits on random female customers. Please stay away from him.
If you're booking the place, I would say, girls please please stay safe 🙏 . Attaching a snapshot for your reference!

Help yourself feel safe by not staying here.

Rooms were good and close to beach but we're not clean and the bathrooms were pretty small.We had to shift to another location after two nights.Overall it was ok for the price we paid .would surely not come again.
