Magdi Vendégház

Four of us, two couples visited the Balaton area in July 2014. After a very bad experience at Camp Zala we desperately needed somewhere to stay. Magdi to the rescue! We booked online and said that we would be coming at 10pm that evening. One of my friends helps to run her family hotel and said that this would be annoying to her with about 2 hours notice. This was not one iota of a problem for Magdi who welcomed us to the apartment and showed us round. The apartment is clean and is very old-school, but in a retro-cool kind of way. I hope it is never changed. The beds were comfortable and there is a convenience store close by. The kitchen is also clean as was the bathroom. The living room was very spacious and comfortable. Magdi invited us to pick peaches for our breakfast from her orchard at the back of the property. Just one of the lovely things that this lady did. I would very much recommend this apartment and hope that we get to stay at Magdi Vendeghaz again.
