330 reviewsI have stayed at Tortugal several times years back. I brought friends there this visit who were new to the area. In Two days and three nights we had a great time at this wonderfully located place with so much to make a visit great. We swam off the dock, kayaked up a nearby canal, heated and cooled at Finca Paraiso water fall/hot springs, walked through Fronteras. We got picked up and returned by Casa Perico - for lunch and a look about. All this was orchestrated by Angela, the current manager, who i hope would be there forever. She "gets" Tortugal. I felt Daphne, the creator's, artistic presence in the structures, walkways, open air lounging spots we enjoyed. The food was fresh and good. Only difficulty was, to me, the oversized portions at dinner. I love Tortugal and Rio Dulce.
