What a great place, if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day this is the place to come. Quirky, but a lovely. The owners and there staff would do anything to make your stay great. The pool is deep and the children's pool is about 4 feet deep. The pool side bar was not open, l believe it's been closed all year. You can purchase drinks from inside the hotel. The rooms are ok, you get free Aircon and a fridge. Breakfast is a buffet which has a great selection. Every room has a balcony.

Summer holiday 

It was one of our best holidays. In a very calm area, but so close to the perfect beach. Hotel pool is clear and very deep. Small one for kids, too. Hotel room have all needed, small fridge, aircondition and very good shower.
All was clean and they change our beds 3 times. The owners are friendly and so kind.
Breakfast is easy, but it was good enough for us (tasty and fresh).
Nice coffee :)
I would welcome some quieter music in the reception or for breakfast. 


Perfect stay

As others have said, simple, quaint, traditional and perfect for a safe, quiet break away. 

Loved all the quirkiness of old-school shower curtains and crazy showers but it all works and keep you cool and happy.

Breakfast was perfect for the hot climate and access to it at 5.30am before leaving on our last day was above and beyond! 

Comfy beds, friendly service and a really relaxed feel.

Remember the small steps after dark...I fell down one and raised my ankle but the delivery of extra ice tot he room was much appreciated! 

Exactly the holiday we were after. 🇬🇷

Perfect little traditional B&B

Just returned from 10 days in Panormos, staying at the Afroditi Hotel.

This hotel is a traditional Greek hotel, so that is something to consider, this includes items like shower curtains that stop 30cm from floor, low shower heads, and toilet paper in bins etc. Not a deal breaker, but certainly something to be aware of. The rooms are a little dated (adding to the traditional Greek feel), with basic fitted wardrobes, a key operated safe, free aircon (new units that worked amazingly well). However a few simple changes would make them rooms more attractive. Remove the dated stickers on doors and pictures on walls. Some people might like these, but I felt it made the rooms feel old fashioned when not relevant or needed.

Breakfast is provided and this included the usual tea, coffee, orange juice, croissant, jams, bread, boiled eggs, watermelon, cheese and sweet pies. All basic stuff, and whilst nice, it is the exact same selection each day.

The pool here for me was great, super deep (literally 9 feet deep all over main pool, excluding a small square area at one corner), clean, and cool. Non salt water pool is also a bonus. There was a large number of wasps that liked to sit on the pool side each day having a drink, whilst they didn't cause any issues it is worth noting. The wasps had butterfly's, crickets and cicada's for company. Small birds and swallows also added to the show, with the swallows skimming the pool for a drink. Was good to watch the show....

However you are not in danger of nodding off too long, as the sun loungers are flat wooden affairs with one end that can be raised. These are showing their age, and each one had a different issue. Also the cushion pads are very thin, so not as comfortable as more modern designs. 

Whilst the hotel advertises that the pool is closed between 2 and 5pm each day for quiet-time, I believe this is out of date information, and it was open all day. But the pool bar and BBQ area isn't open and from my understanding hasn't been for some time. This could explain whilst the pool area is very quiet, and for several days no other guests used the pool. Its also noting that the pool area is well sheltered and a sun trap. 

I also took a trip to the "gym" in the hotel, and this is not usable in its current state. The limited equipment is very old and rusty, and the room is not inviting.

Location of the hotel is great, only 50m from the pebble beach, and very quiet and relaxing. Overall a few simple changes to this hotel would make all the difference. 

Very Traditional Greek 

Started our Greek Island hopping trip with this incredibly charming and typically friendly hotel, ticked all the boxes, excellent location, lovely pool area and very reasonably priced, we didn't want to leave and Panormos is a truly beautiful place as well, we are now over in Skiathos but really miss this gem of a hotel.

Just wonderful.

Couple and teenage son (17). This was a holiday we had postponed due to the pandemic, so we were really looking forward to it. I have been visiting Greece for over 35 years - and love more traditional resorts. Panormas and the Afrodite Hotel did not disappoint! A traditionally styled hotel, which we expected and our apartment was roomy, clean and had a fabulous sea view, just as we had requested. Breakfast is continental and abundant, taken in the lovely setting by the pool. The staff are lovely and friendly. 
The location of the hotel is perfect for us, and the pebble beach suits us all. The sea is the clearest I have ever seen and the sunsets are stunning!
Tavernas a-plenty - but we ended up going to Rigas every day, to use their sunbeds, have lunch and for our evening meals too! Amazing service and fabulous food every time.
Our only issue with the Afrodite - which didn't spoil our holiday, but could have made it better - was that the pool bar was closed, there aren't enough sun beds and the pool needs proper walk in style steps, for those of us with dodgy knees - as hauling myself out on the metal steps was painful - which is why we unfortunately only used the wonderfully deep pool for two days out of 14 :0( 
All in all, one of the best resorts we have ever visited in Greece and a fabulous hotel too. 
We will return!

Panormas Paradise!

Well what can we say. What a wonderful stay. Owners warm and welcoming. The room is located less than 100m away from the beach. The breakfasts are basic but enough to see you through to dinner, rooms were kept clean fresh bedding each day, this may be due to end of season which we prefer so its perfect and we got more than we expected. Only downside if any was the beds are hard and few channels on the tv in the evening which we like after an evening out but each to their own... OVER ALL PERFECT 2 WEEK STAY FOR US gutted when we left which is a first for me. 

Wonderful 2 week stay

Spent a lovely week at this traditional Greek hotel. The rooms are basic but have everything needed along with hairdryers and fridge.
Clean towels and sheets every day.
The staff are lovely nothing is too much trouble. I loved the Greek yoghurt and honey at breakfast, my husband liked the toasted sandwiches. 
There are lots of lovely places to eat along the main road and on the beach. Nothing is very far away. We did the Mama Mia trip which was excellent are guide and driver were great.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and holiday.

Lovely week

A very peaceful hotel for relaxing with friendly and helpful stuff. Simple nice clean rooms in wonderful location surrounded by pine forest hills. Breakfast was served under covid rules providing wide choice of products including local bio fruits. The stuff provided their service behind a protective glass. We had to leave very early in the morning so that stuff made sure to have breakfast and coffee available for us before 7.30 am. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool (one for adults, smaller one for kids). We come to this hotel for many (12) years and we definitely come back again. We consider it our Greek Home.

Perfect Greek family hotel

Simple structure very well maintained and well cared for and loved. Discrete and very kind owners, always available for any need. Bright, spacious, very well clean room. Full breakfast. Very green and quiet area. Clean and perfectly usable swimming pool, extra comfort in the breaks between a beach and a visit. Immerse in greenery and silence. Two steps from the sea.
