Green Park Skiathos

Every time we go back to Green Park, we love It more and more and more. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxing, the food is delicious, cooked and served with love and professionalism. The three gorgeous brothers, who owe the place with their parents, are the perfect exemple of Greek Filoxenia: they make feel everyone very welcome. Can't wait to go back again. Well done, guys!

We have just spent 17 days at this wonderful place what an oasis all the flowers and trees a peaceful and tranquil place. The rooms were very clean and the bed so comfortable shower was fab all you need.

The family that own the Green Park are amazing from dad who is an excellent chef and mum who helps, and what can we say about the three brothers they are so passionate about making their guests feel so welcome. The food delicious and service amazing. 

Hope to return in the near future.

What a wonderful family run place! We booked as part of a Jet2 holiday and didn’t expect too much, but it felt much nicer than a 2*. 
The grounds are gorgeous, set back from the road, full of tropical flowers and trees. The accommodation was fairly basic as expected, but the beds very comfortable with mattress toppers, the bathroom nice, water hot and there were some lovely touches like nice pieces of furniture and original hand drawn artwork (although I’m sure they were bemused as I removed a picture… only because I have an odd fear of large glass frames falling off when sleeping!). 
We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food was delicious and brothers serving were really nice and welcoming. 
The pool is quite small, but still a lovely area to sunbath. There is evening entertainment some nights but we missed it as we’re always too tired after exploring. It could be fairly noisy some nights, but we had asked for a quiet room away from the bar which is exactly what we were allocated (room 3, first floor under the trees… a lovely position).
All in all a lovely stay, a warm friendly welcome and we loved the island.

Looking for a little piece of paradise in Skiathos? Then Green Park may well be the place you're looking for.

It's a relatively small (16 room) set of self-catering apartments, well located in Agia Paraskevy to the centre of the island. Just off bus stop 16 and set back from the road, you walk into a lush, green garden, landscaped with trees and flowers and a beautiful swimming pool. You then enter the bar and restaurant area which is beautifully presented.

The hotel is family run with Nicolas and his two brothers Theodore and Alexander at the forefront of things, while father does the cooking and mother is a Jill of all trades. They are some of the loveliest people you'll meet and on our arrival we were told that "while you are here, you are family. Worry about nothing" - and they were right. The service in the hotel is fabulous, nothing is too much trouble and then there's the food.... wow. Father knows how to cook some great food, and while it's not necessarily the cheapest on the island, I would wager it's some of the best (and most plentiful!) There are a plethora of awards on the wall of the restaurant and I would say that they are all well deserved.

While you can book directly, the hotel is mainly serviced by two tour companies - one British and one Dutch. Everybody is welcome and there is a real community spirit around the place as you can sit and chat to anyone. During the day the bar is lovely and peaceful and although it livens up at night, the music adds to the ambiance without dominating it. It's a really nice balance of retreat and holiday hotel.

How good is it? If I said to you there were couples that had been going back to the hotel for 20 years, then that might give you some idea of how good the hotel is  and how friendly the hosts are. It was only our first visit and it certainly won't be our last. The hugs from our hosts were a fitting end to the most wonderful of holidays.

If you are looking for a chrome covered, marble bathroom'd hotel ideal for all the family then I would say this isn't for you - but if you want a well equipped apartment with super comfortable beds and want to get away from it all, then Green Park really is worth a visit - but be warned, it quite rightly books up very quickly!

Green Park is beautiful we were met by the owner and showed to our studio it was spotless he left us to unpack and settle in.The first night we had a meal in the restaurant it was great food was first class the rooms were cleaned daily towels and beds changed regularly, we ate at the restaurant 4 times and rest of the time in different places , the gardens were kept very well tended to everyday couldn’t fault it recommend to any body.

Had a great many nights here at the bar and restaurant.  It is a beautiful setting in stunning gardens.  The three brothers who run it are amazing.  So friendly and warm and provide impeccable service.  Especially loved Nicho who served us and looked after us so well on every occasion he really cares about his patrons.  Can’t wait to return.

Came to Green Park last year and absolutely loved it, the brothers are extremely welcoming and friendly and great people. The rooms are a good size with large beds and air conditioning. The restaurant around the pool is all lit up and stunning. The food is just gorgeous with very generous portions. We were made to feel very comfortable and settled the whole duration of our 2- week stay. We returned to Skiathos this year, unfortunately Green Park was fully booked but we have since returned for meals and drinks and the atmosphere was the exact same- homely and warm. Would 100% recommend. Will definitely be back.

We visited the stunning Green Park for dinner and the experience was superb.  The brothers Nicolas,  Alexander and Theo can’t do enough to make you feel welcome.  The perfect hosts.  The food was incredible - authentic and plentiful.  Cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area be sure to pay a visit.  We will be back it is the best hotel and restaurant on the island.

My most favourite place on the island if skiathos  … walking up the drive is an experience in itself … the vibe, the hosts - just everything about it is 100% Skiathos pure  hospitality. Accommodation spotless , the restaurant possibly one of the best in the island & the team …. I could eat them they’re so gorgeous

We didn’t stay at Green Park but went to eat after a recommendation. So glad we did and ever happier we returned on two other occasions. The odd bit is the sign on the road - it’s a London Underground sign with Green Park on it - this may put you off and certainly doesn’t prepare you for how wonderfully the studios and restaurant are. As you walk up to it you then begin to think it may be a bit too posh and possibly very expensive - the setting and use of lighting is stunning. Infact it is very reasonable and no more expensive than all the others places locally - the most striking thing though is the fantastic menu - superb traditional cooking and generous portions. The service is also impeccable and you will look at your bill convinced your experience must be more expensive than what you are being asked to pay!! It was our children’s choice fir our final meal of the holiday - no higher compliment. Go and eat here with confidence - I can vouch for the lamb chops!
