Studio Apartment Perivolos

A quiet and very friendly hotel near Perissa. Clean and spacious. Not far away from the beach (probably the best beach of Santorini). There is also a nice swimming pool. Recommended for families. Good prices.

We stayed in a big room (for 5 people) for five days. It is a family-governed complex with clean rooms, bathroom and kitchenette. The staff is very helpful, they offer you a ride from and to the airport and generally very welcoming. The complex does not have a bar itself, so besides the pool outside (which is by the way very nice) there not much to spend your time with there. The market is located at a 2 minutes walk, the beach and restaurants within aprox. 10 min walk. All-in-all we spent a very nice time there, would certainly advise if you aim for something relaxing and peaceful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, giving advice and helping us with airport transfers. Room was clean and included basic equipment for cooking. Air-conditioning and wifi worked fine. Very close to a public bus stop and minimarket, and close to Perivolos beach. Only issue is that it is a bit far from perissa beach, where most of the restaurants are

Traditional design, clean and nice rooms

Clean rooms and friendly staff 

A very friendly hotel

Very good value but the apartments were just not really suitable for families.
Free pick up (excellent) from the ferry port at midnight as we came to Santorini from Rhodes with 4 of our kids.
The apartments were clean.
The pool was small but fine for kids....however, the man came out and said that children should not jump in the pool in case of accidents.....then later that day his family were all jumping in the pool...not fair in my opinion.
We stayed in August and Perivolos was not busy at all.
We hired a car and travelled around and found that Kamari was better suited to families...it had more restaurants and things going on.
I would not stay in Perivolos again as there was nothing going on for families.
We loved Santorini however and hope to visit again.

Really more suited to backpackers.

I stayed there with friends for some days, and the room was not very clean. When we arrived the bathroom was completely wet, with a towel in the floor dripping water. We even had cockroaches coming out from the bathroom and the kitchen. 

Worst of all, I left my camera in the room for an entire day, and when I left and I was out of there, I saw that my camera hadn't the memory card inside (WITH ALL MY PHOTOS OF THE TRIP) and we forgot also some clothes in the room. We talked with the people there and they weren't helpful at all, and they confirmed us that they hadn't found anything left in the room when they cleaned. Very strange indeed. 

There are better places in the island, don't choose this one.
