Joanna Villas

One of my most pleasurable stays.  The hotel is a pleasant retreat from an adventurous day scavenging the island.  The rooms are generous and well thought out.  The hotel has a very nice breakfast area and tables to sit and enjoy an afternoon or evening by the pool.  The hotel’s owner, Mr. Vaggelis, is friendly and helpful and makes the stay even more enjoyable.  When I return to Santorini, I will stay here again.

The owner of Joanna Villas, Vangelis, was first of all a very nice and warm person. He was very involved and supportive during our entire holiday. He offered us valuable information about the main sightseengs of the island. The villa  was very nice, close to the sea, the breakfast very good, the rooms very cosy. We were happy with our choice and will definitely come back.

Everything that you want and need with the personal touch that you only get at smaller privately run hotels!

An excellent hotel, great accomodation, confortable beds, very clean, excellent breakfast , the view of the mountain, the pool, the flowers, the anfitrion made us an inmemorable vacations. Very close to the beach, and lots of fantástics restaurants, even an Irish Coffee bar, in the corner of the hotel. You cant miss this place to stay when you travel to Santorini..

Vangelis was a great host, good communication and lots of helpful tips on where to go/eat. We had a brilliant family holiday in Joanna Villas. The apartments are perfectly situated, close to the shops and restaurants. Nice and quiet at night. The pool is a good size and never too busy. The apartment was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Recently returned from a week's holiday in beautiful Santorini.  So relaxing - despite losing my passport!  Vangelis couldn't have been more helpful, not just with the passport problem, but so much more.  He really is the perfect host.  Loved our apartment - close to all amenities, but incredibly quiet, well-maintained, in a stunning setting.  Like a previous reviewer, we tend not to return to the same place, but would definitely return to Joanna Villas.

What a gorgeous find! A lovely warm welcome from our host, spotless & modern rooms, comfy beds, beautiful surroundings for breakfast and around the pool, a perfect short walk from the buzz of Kamari, supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Car hire just across the road. A lovely breakfast, it’s the perfect offering and if you make it in time you also get freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh natural yoghurt. 

It was also the small things that really impressed me at Joanna Villas, complimentary water for our stay, the rooms were really equipped with everything you could imagine needing; fridge freezer, glasses, bottle opener, washing up liquid & sponges, pots, plates and pans and cutlery. A small electric ring cooker, kettle, hair dryer, hand soap, shower gel & shampoo.  

Downstairs on the table was always a pile of fresh clean towels for the pool which we borrowed when we went to the beach which was ideal to save on space in our suitcases! 

The grounds are gorgeous and so well looked after, Vangelis really does look after the place and you can tell a lot of love is put into this family business. Vangelis really knows his stuff, he will happily help you with any questions, book car hire / excursions or taxi transfers with you. The cleaners are friendly and do an exceptional job, our room was spotless and fresh towels daily. 

Thank you for a fabulous stay, and helping us plan our trip around the island. We would be back in a heartbeat! I travel a-lot for work and not many places you get this experience and I feel so so thankful we found this perfect place.

We visited Joanna Villas for a week in total and our experience was fantastic!

The villa we stayed in was modern, had all of the essential amenities and two balconies. It was extremely clean when we arrived and housekeeping came round every day to clean / refresh the room. The host, Vangelis, was extremely helpful when we arrived, showed us key spots to visit and also provided us with complimentary water for our stay. He was also on hand if we had any issues at any point during the day and night. 

Breakfast was plentiful. It included hot and cold meats, cheese, breakfast cereals, fruits, pastries and bread. There was also the option of freshly squeezed orange juice every morning which was to die for!

There is also a good sized pool for you to make use of, which is surrounded by many sun beds and parasols. There are also kids toys etc available!

The property is well located to visit other places in Santorini such as Oia, Thira and Pyrgos - we used a car to get to these places but I believe there is a frequent bus. There is also plenty to do in Kamari and many eateries and convenience shops around.

We had an amazing vacation and the main reason was absolutely because of how beautiful and perfectly kept the property is. We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 adult kids. We stayed at Joanna villas for 7 nights, the villas are on the perfect street and it’s quiet but not at all isolated and there is a parking lot, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment (the first bedroom had a very comfortable queen size bed, the second bedroom had 2 twin beds and a lofted third single bed) the kitchen has a washer and there is a clothing hanger on a terrace off the kids room, housekeeping came everyday, breakfast was served every morning just off the beautiful pool area that is surrounded by many beautiful plants and trees, they have beach towels to use, always a bonus. 
Vangelis the property owner (the nicest person with a huge heart) went out of his way to make absolutely EVERYTHING beyond special, he knows the best restaurants, beaches, sunset spot, and excursions to make the best of your time in Santorini!! I took a lot of time to researching the best location (so many restaurants and a nice boardwalk to keep you busy and entertained….. but not stressful or loud ) and I’m glad we found this gem. I will definitely go back and stay.

Our trip to Joanna Villas was a mother & daughter trip. 
I think we picked a great location, close to beaches, bars , restaurants & shops .  All walking distance . But far enough away for a perfectly quiet location.,

Modern clean rooms , more than enough choice for a continental breakfast.  All the staff were friendly and helpful.  Our host Vangelis was more than helpful and the idea of a map 🗺 with all locations proved most helpful.  And helped out guests in fact went above and beyond when needs be .  Customer service 10/10..

Would love to revisit again, plus I would be more than happy for Joanna’s Villas to be a location for a holiday for my daughter with her friends, I know that they would be safe and looked after .

Vangelis had access to a driver if need be for sight seeing.  The sun-beds around the pool were more than comfortable . The pool a fabulous temperature whilst sunbathing.,

We really enjoyed our trip, and certainly would visit again.

Thank you Joanna Villas!

Joanna Villas is located in a beautiful spot in Kamari Santorini. 
The  hotel rooms and surroundings were immaculately presented and it was evident that the owner and his team pride themselves on the cleanliness and presentation. 

The pool area was very welcoming and ideal for a quiet afternoon to chill out in the sun. 

We stayed in a 2 bedroom  apartment, it was very comfortable and had its own balcony which had views of the garden, pool and a mountain view a lovely place to sit and have morning coffee. 

The Owner Vangellis was very friendly and helpful and gave us great tips on places  to visit and recommended some lovely restaurants. 
 
Vangellis made us feel very welcome and made all his guests feel that his hotel was home from home. 
Thank you for a lovely stay in your hotel and we will definitely return.
