On An Island

This place is great, I loved it. It has a bed, toilet and a shower. What more does one need when travelling to such a beautiful Island. Friendly service. Great house keeping and delicious breakfast every morning brought into your room. Great location, although I would advise asking for the pick up service from the airport as it is slightly off the road and will be hard to find. 2 minutes away from main area of Fira and 2 5minutes away from offlicence. Perect.

Plain, Simple, Friendly, Great. All you need when visiting a beautiful island.

We were a group of 4 when we stayed at here. Despite the room having the space for 4, unfortunately the beds available would not fit all 4 and one of us slept on the sofa - which is not a sofa bed. The hosts are quite friendly and responsive and the room quite spacious, but lacked the basics. The only mirror was smaller than the size of a tabloid sheet of paper, the bathroom flooded due to poor layout and constantly attracted flies. Breakfast is provided but is very basic. I'm giving 3 stars because the location is good and the hosts were nice. However, with $300 at IKEA, i could do so much for that place. It would also help if they invested in a decent mirror and sofa bed. 

In need of upgrades

I booked very late and for the dates I was in Fira this was one of the few options available (given the budget). Some reviews are quite bad, but I felt it was okay! The owner was very nice. The room was good enough given the price. Wifi is ok, AC is ok, location is quite good and close to everything. Breakfast is super simple but better than nothing. Though I have to mention it is not the cleanest. Bedding is not clean (stains), some rubbish left by previous guests, etc. To other guests: book early!!

Not as bad as in other reviews!

Book it only if you can't find something better.
We rent a two bedroom "cave" apartment. There was no soap in the bathroom, no AC (it was advertised with AC), you couldn't close the bathroom door !!!, no place to handle the towel, one of the bedrooms was extremely noisy (from the road above), bad wifi signal, the only good thing was the attitude of the Manager (or owner), he was very polite. 
The quality of the breakfast was ridiculous.
Also, the delayed the airport pickup for half hour. At last, it was expensive for that quality.

The last choise

We booked for 3 apartment 1st of march 2016 for 3 families with children. We paid 770 euro. Sept27 they emailed us again. Through booking.com that the hotel was confirmed and corrected them about the arrival time.0ct 21,2016 11:30am we arrived at the property waited till 1200 for check in the man managing the hotel said we need to go up to e next property we thought it is a part of the accommodation when i realized that the cave room that we were hoping to see is not there and i began to ask if this is a different accommodation. He said that the accommodation was double booked 10 days ago before we arrive. Three families was upset, we are not been inform to start with and he is forcing us to accept the accommodation. The accommodation was filty, dusty, small with no kitchen with 11 inch tv, with folding bed. We are all stress  and homeless till 6pm,i contacted booking that com and explained what hsppened and was advised to look for property with the same or near the amount we paid. The man insisting us to accept the accommodation and told us that everything in fira was fully booked. We waited for booking .com to email us hotel close to what we need but it is 1.2 miles from fira, i said not prepared to walk back fort everyday with children. We start walking around the the town and saw  blue sky hotel but unmaned reception we moved to the next hotel golden star hotel which is closer  and more accessible that on an island. To get there you need to pass through a small narrow uneven footpath beside thirisa hotel. If you got car you will need to park 15 mins away from the public parkin. The outside of the hotel was okay big table outside if you want to eat with friends i cant tell you about the inside because we were evicted/homeless 10 days prior to our holiday. We thought somebody else offered a big amount that we paid. We just hope we were told before we leave uk, just a courtesy email or text message so we are prepared to look for another accommodation. Booking .com said refund will be3-5 day and its now more that a week i havent receive the money. So for this its a no no i will give them 0 star. For
