The best place to visit if you are a miser with your pennies.
You have a whole private beach all to yourself just 20 meters away from your apartment.
If you get up early you will watch the sun rising in awe amidst the morning colors.
Breakfast is included in a sub 100 euro price per nite for the smallest of the 8 apartments on offer by this eclectic boutique hotel.
Just 5 minutes driving away you can find an excellent restaurant set in a grassy backyard where you can eat well for next to nothing.

Run by a warm family who take an interest in guests and are eager to make them comfortable.  We had two large rooms with kitchen facilities, and two balconies overlooking the sea. Excellent breakfasts (espresso available!); a fine beach with few bathers (this was late September); a good supermarket is up the road in Githio.  We even liked the laughing jackals at night!  We would love to return someday.

An excellent place for a quite family vacation!! Very clean with a pleasant atmosphere very friendly .The rooms were two spaces very nice an Ideal place for relaxation and the sea in front of you with umbrellas and sunbed!!

We stayed 5 wonderful days in Akti Kamares. The apartments are very clean and comfortable, with all the facilities that you might need. The owners are soooo friendly and helpful.
It is right on the beach, with sunbeds available for all. 
For us, the best thing was the breakfast in the garden just a few metres from the sea. There were home made jams and cakes, delicious coffee and fresh fruit salad.
Kamares is a great place to explore the Mani.

We spent two lovely days in Akti Kamares and from the minute we were greeted by Marika's smile we fell in love with this place. We wish we had booked a longer stay. Quiet, spotless clean, right on the edge of the sea, with free umbrellas and free lounge beds. Great breakfast in the shade. Spacious apartment, well equipped and with super view (amazing sunrise from the sea every morning) and a lovely breeze all day long, keeping it fresh without the need of air conditioning (it is available but we never used it). Lots of things to do and see by car in the region, but so nice to come back in the evening and fall asleep lulled by the gentle sound of the waves breaking on the beach. Marika, her brother, her mother, all always available, friendly, full of recommendations and histories about their family living here since centuries, speaking perfect english, they made us feel part of their family friends. We look forward to come again soon!

The apartments are designed to be accommodating and comfortable, providing all the facilities that will make your holidays unique and unforgettable. The sandy beach in front of the apartments is ideal for swimming and sunbathing. The beach is recommended for calming holidays. There is also a snack bar serving breakfast, and you can buy coffees, soft drinks, drinks, beers and other beverages, as well as cold dishes, sandwiches, pizzas, hot dogs and more.

It is next to the sea, very quite and clean.
The sea view and the landscape are unique.
Marika the lady in charge, is available all time to provide support and solutions.
I am sure  I will be returning every year.

This was our second stay at Akti Kamares and we enjoyed it even more than last year.
If you like peace and quiet and relaxing this is for you.
A car is advised to get the most out of the area and we enjoyed exploring as well as swimming and snoozing in the sun.
The beach was very near (and felt rather like your own private beach!) the water was clear and perfect for swimming. The sun-beds and umbrellas were free too. 
The hotel public areas and rooms were clean and looked after. 
Peaceful and airy rooms had great views and the air-con was efficient. 
The bathroom was clean and the shower powerful with plenty of hot water and the kitchenette well also well equipped and clean. 
The breakfast was a lovely addition and a good way to start the day. 
Service as last year was excellent - friendly and very helpful. Knowledgable and passionate about this area. Marika and her parents were absolutely lovely hosts.
Highly recommended to all.
