We had an excellent experience here.  It is priced right, has a great view, and excellent service.  The rooms are comfortable if a little small, but the view was breath-taking.  It was a great stay and we will be back!

Excellent choice for an affordable place with a great view!

I was there for my holiday in summer. I was very dissapointed. The hotel was awfull!!!! Even if the hotel was on the top of the hill and outside the town....I espected to be a HOTEL. 
Well, I have booked a room for 5 nights....when I arrive a received the room....with a sea view....well...actually was a view of the backyard which was full of garbage. Inside the room ....on the walls were full of spiderweb.....the bathroom was an old fashion bathroom...with tiles...from my grandma time!!!.....with no towels!!!!....ok.....this was great😞....The tv.....even if it was an LCD....you could not see a tv program!!! It was not working!!! And I have payed for dinner also in the package!!!...but at the reception they didn't know!!! They've send me to eat at a restaurant near the sea....where I went for 2 days...and then...no more!!

As a conclusion....I am not going there anymore!!! I never thought I had to write this type of opinion!!!

Never go back!!!!! Beware!!!

I made a booking to stay at this hotel through a well known booking site. I thought it looked like an old building and apperared attractive in its photos. A couple of weeks before travelling I got a demand for payment which was to be forwarded to a a bank in Greece. I cancelled the booking ( thank goodness)  but then had an email telling me my booking would still stand. As I still liked the look of the hotel I emailed back and repeated the date of our arrival. When we got to Platenemos we could not find the hotel initially. It turned out to be on the main road  up at the back of the town, we phoned and got no answer. The outside is painted to look like 'faux' brick. It is awful. We were very pleased that it was closed and that we could make our escape.
