Hotel Filoxenia

This is a bit of Diamond in the Rough, BUT, for a very cheap night stop which is near the both the main Bus and Train stations it has all you need. The area is like any out of the center big city area so sightseeing is not an option. We had a late flight arrival so onward travel was not available and looked for a cheap over-nighter, this being the only one. The 73 bus from the airport was able to stop close by. Staff helpful on arrival, gave us 2 free bottles of water and (when we asked) two cans of coke all delivered promptly to the room with a small ice bucket. Helped with cases and taxi booking the next morning (rank close by so no delay) plus early room call. Wifi available, hot water, TV - a few English items found, balcony and comfy bed. This met and exceeded all our expectations and such great value.
