This was a really excellent all round place to stay.  The attention to detail and helpfulness and kind reception we got was outstanding.  The amenities and standard of the property is excellent.  It's spacious and has everything you want with the added bonus of a breakfast area and a fantastic offering for breakfast which was included in the price, fantastic value for money.

Maybe it depends what you want.  For us, The Aenaon Apartments were a great choice  as we were most interested in the surrounding sights of Mycenae and Epidavros  and not so much in the town of Napflio.  Having said that,  we did venture into town and it only took 7 minutes by car to get to the large free parking area by the bay.  Walking would also be a good option. 

The apartments are in a mostly residential area, but only a couple of minutes from 
the main road.  The signage is good so it is easy to find the accommodation., There is a supermarket and some nice restaurants within a short walk.  Getting to Epidavros, Mycenae and Nemea was a breeze from this location, and we did that on 3 consecutive days. 

The room and bathroom were clean and modern and there was a lovely balcony on which to sit after the heat of the day.  There was a fridge, which was appreciated;  it would have been nice to have a kettle, as we travel with our own coffee and tea, but that's a minor issue. 

The breakfast was very good with wonderful coffee and freshly-squeezed orange juice, eggs, toast, fruit etc.  Lots to choose from.

The owners were all very friendly and kind.  Yes, there is a bit of a bark-fest from time to time when the local hounds start up, but that only seemed to happen on occasion and didn't hinder our enjoyment of this property one bit.

Spacious rooms, nicely decorated and renovated. The owners are friendly and helpful. The location is something like 5 mins away by car of the town of Nafplion and is very convenient in order to relax.
Tip: select the 3rd floor room with the large  balcony ; great view😉
The prices are normal during low and high season. 
I would certainly suggest it!  


Room was comfy clean and relatively new. View was great and the host very friendly. Would recommend to others and will visit again soon for sure. Our room had a very big veranda and included a fireplace as well

Few km away from the city center. Clean rooms nice decoration and very nice view. The owner is very friendly and his father helped us a lot .  The best thing - breakfast in bed. 
The owners father also helped me to find my glasses that I forgot outside the hotel... 

Excellent location, views are amazing, bed was a little stiff but overall it was good

They call it 'Aenaon Apartments'. but as far as we could see, there are no apartments - only double rooms.

Our rooms were clean, modern, well-equipped (Greek TV only) and the daily housekeeping visits were unobtrusive and well done. Breakfast is served in the ground floor dining room, and is excellent with comprehensive cooked and uncooked breafast available. Coffee is excellent.

Good valuie and nice people. Too far from the centre of Nafplio to walk, so you'll need a car.

We liked our room, it was spacious and nicely decorated, but it wasn’t very clean and it was far from the centre or any amenity so we had to take our car every time we wanted to buy even small things like water. 
Good value for money though.
