Popi Star Hotel

This is a total wee gem ! If you're bothered about what the decor is like or if the telly works, then this is not for you, I personally don't care. Beds are changed regularly , towels are changed every day, very clean and there's a key in the safe, so that's free, nice little touch , little slippers good if you don't like walking a tiled floor, lovely shower and shampoo provided, and a free scale at the front for cases to be weighed before you go to airport. Lovely breakfast, But the best thing about this hotel is as our flight was delayed we arrived at 1am. I had our booking on my phone but they didn't have our details, not their fault I booked via holiday supermarket.com - never again!! night porter sent us to a hotel round the corner beds were like a brick and room was tiny , we went back to popi star in the morning they told us to help ourselves to breakfast and would try sort it out we came back , still couldn't find our booking, so they took a screen shot of our booking from my phone, turns out, 3rd party holiday supermarket sent our details to "Love Holidays" didn't pass our details on!! So I had an email, but popi Star didn't get one ! Staff in popi Star were amazing!! They got us booked another night in a much nicer place for a further night ( the people on the desk, sorry, I can't remember your names) they transferred us there and brought us back the next day ,as they didnt have a room till the Wednesday, popi star staff are amazing they did a lot more than our tour operators and I will be making a complaint !! Popi star staff, you will know who you are on the desk and in the back office. You 3 guys are amazing. I can't thank you enough. You saved our holiday!! We loved your hotel, and we will be back! It might be a 2 star, but I give the staff 5 stars. You are amazing above and beyond, you all deserve a pay rise !! Love June and Brian Murray
